Henry and Blakely sat upstairs eavesdropping on the adults.
"She's gonna use it on us?" Henry asked and walked down the stairs. They had been listening to the adults talk about Regina using a curse to make them love her.
"Hey, buddy, why don't you go back upstairs? Let us handle this."
Henry pushed past David. "No! Emma, you said you were gonna be honest with me. Now, why is Regina using this curse?"
"Because it's the only way she can get everything she wants, that she can get you." Gold gestured to the kids.
"But if all she wants is us..."
"Your mother is a complicated woman. She wants your love, of course. But she also wants vengeance on Mary Margaret." Gold said.
"How does the curse give her both?" David asked.
"Because the last ingredient she needs to enact the curse is the heart of the person she hates the most." Gold explained.
"You have to stop her." Emma insisted.
"No, I don't have to do anything." Gold said. "On the contrary, I believe warning you fulfills my debt."
"Not even close." David raised his voice. "This is my wife we're talking about!"
"Not to mention your grandchildren's." Emma added.
"Yeah, well, wars have costs." He said nonchalantly.
"Nice." Emma folded her arms.
"Well, this is a blood feud, dearie. One that goes back a very, very long time. And the only way you can end a blood feud is by the spilling of more blood. That is the only way I know to eliminate your Regina problem." Gold explained.
"By what? Killing her?" David questioned with frustration filling his voice.
"Is there no other option?" Emma asked.
"I'm afraid not."
"There has to be." Blakely insisted with her fingers leaning against her temple in frustration.
"Stop! Listen to yourselves!" Henry intervened. "You're talking about killing my mom. You used to be heroes. What happened to you?" Henry ran for the door.
"Henry?" Emma rushed after him. "No matter how this plays out, we need to keep him as far away from it as possible."
Blakely ran out of the door with Emma.
"Why did you bring me here?" Henry asked as they walked into Granny's. "I don't wanna talk to you."
"You don't have to." She led both of them to a booth.
"Hey, buddy!" Neal said. "Saved you a seat." He said leaning back in the booth.
"I'm gonna go get a coffee." Emma said.
