"LIV! AHMED! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING?" I yell and run straight towards them. Liv looks startled and slides away from underneath Ahmed and he gets up casually. He has a smug look on his face, it gets me so mad I could punch his face right off.
"SUNNY! What are you doing here?" Liv asks, stunned.
I start to laugh which only gets me confused looks in return as Liv looks at Ahmed, but he shrugs in return. "My best friend, shouldn't I be asking you that? What the fuck were you doing here, exactly?"
"Look....it's.....not exactly what it looks like," Liv starts to say.
"By 'it's not exactly what it looks like' do you mean it is not you cheating with my boyfriend? Cause I think that's exactly what it looks like," I smirk. At this point, I am not mad neither shocked because I definitely fully expected this when I entered into a relationship with Ahmed.
"Okay.....well you see, I actually kind of liked Ahmed when I first saw him with you and you probably know how toxic he is, which only attracted me to him even more," she protests.
"And you, being you, had to take some of that toxicity for yourself, right?" I ask with one brow raised.
"Well, yeah sort of," she shrugs. Why is she saying this as if it is not a big deal? She literally cheats with my boyfriend and shrugged her shoulders like it don't matter. This is the person I call my friend?
"Alright, congratulations, then I am so happy for you," I clap my hands as I turn to walk away.
"Congratulations on what, my girl?" Ahmed scoffs.
I turn back and stride towards him and smack his face. As my hand leaves his face, a red mark starts to appear on his cheek. He grabs my hand and twists it back. I grit my teeth. "I always knew you were going to stoop low, but I have never thought you would stoop so low as to hit a woman."
"You didn't answer my question though, sugar pumpkin," Ahmed taunts in a teasing, evil tone.
"Stop calling me your sugar pumpkin, dumb ass, I am ending it with you here and now. And congratulations on your new relationship with my so-called friend," I yell. Thank god the hallways are empty and not a lot of teachers are in school yet, otherwise I would be in trouble big time and my parents would kill me if they find out about this.
"When you end a relationship, you need both side's consent, darling. And I do not consent to this," Ahmed hisses.
"Well, you damned piece of shit, who told you I consent to an open relationship? You cannot be messing with other girls when you have me. And you already messed up this relationship so many times and I forgave so many times. Too bad you lost my trust so many times, I am not willing to forgive anymore," I cry out. "Now let me go!"
I pull my hand free from his grasp. Liv runs towards me, "Sun, I am so sorry, I never intended on this to happen."
"Of course, you never intended," I mimicked her. "You said you liked him from the start which means you had an intention to mess with him from the start. Now I don't care. Talk to everyone else in the friend group. but leave me out of it. I don't want to talk to you ever again. I expected this from Ahmed, but the last person to have expected this from was you."
"I apologize once again-," she starts to say.
I raise my hand up in front of my face, "Save it for someone who will believe you."
Now it's Ahmed's turn to walk up to me, "Babe, I am so sorry, please. We are two toxins who can't live without the other. You are a good toxin, while I am an addicting bad toxin. Please, I love you but just wanted some side fun."
"Shut up, man, like how long are you going to lie through your teeth? Your stupid comparison don't even make sense and no girl wants their boyfriend to have side fun with others, unless they are mentally not okay. So for some future reference, keep that in mind," I retort.
I run away from the both of them before the other catches up to me. I run with no tears, no fears, and no worries. When I see Sam, Val, and Kris, I stop running and nonchalantly walk up to them.
"Hey, where were you?" Sam asks.
"Girl, the bell to homeroom rang, why are you still back here? We were just going up," Val questions.
"Guys, she was probably with her boyfriend, why are y'all interrogating her like some police to a criminal?" Kris says to both of them.
"No, I no longer have a boyfriend." I smile. "We are all even, four peas in a pod. And yes, today there was some interrogating except I was the police and most definitely not the criminal."
"Why, what happened?" Kris says in confusion.
"Nothing, just caught him cheating on me just a while ago, so I immediately ended it with him," I reply calmly.
Samantha instantly jumped on me, "Girl, what if you did that too quick or saw wrong?"
"GIRL, I saw him ON TOP of a girl literally and not that he 'fell' on her or whatever, I already was a fool and believed him once before with that story. So I stood in a corner and watched and he was saying all these things like 'beg me for it', and I ran up and said 'Fuck off, you don't deserve to be in my life' and now we are done," I answered.
Kris patted my back, "I am so glad you handled it maturely and not the usual girls, crying and making a fuss."
I smiled at her, "Thanks Kris!"
"So who was the girl he was cheating on you with?" Val asked.
"Was she prettier than you?" Sam asked as well.
"I don't know who she is. And Samantha, girl I could never compare others to me like that, whether they are all prettier or uglier than me, I don't care because I am over the guy anyways," I replied.
"Okay, okay, we get it," Val said.
"Alright, fine, I was just trying to get the juicy details, you know, them spicy details," Samantha said, rubbing her palms together.
"Meh, I am not interested in lingering on the past anyways, let's move on," I laugh.
We all walk up to homeroom. As Mr. Jessinki calls our names for attendance, I put my headphones on and let BTS do its magic. Aahh, always can count on BTS to put my tears on hold. Whether it's 'Make It Right' or 'Life Goes On', it always created the mood.
The bell for first period rings and I rush out of homeroom without waiting for Samantha, which is unusual because I always walk with her. I rush down the staircase nearest to our homeroom door and my grip on the staircase rail slips and this causes me to fall down three steps.
I fall and all of the papers and folders in my hand fall to the ground. No one cares to help me and people only look for a few seconds and walk off. Them idiots do not see a helpless girl just lying at the bottom of the staircase. Dumb asses are stepping all over my papers and no one stops to help.
I grab my papers and shove them into my backpack and as I am getting up without looking, I hit my head with someone staring at me for longer than ten seconds. Oh my gosh! Why is this, quote unquote, gorgeous boy with brown eyes and brown hair just looking at me? What did I do to deserve this? THAT just made my day!
"Sorry," I mutter as I quickly walk away. I see him walking away, out of the corner of my eye. I hurry and walk to English class without Ahmed by my side this time.
