New Identity

"Oh for fuck's sake, Alberich. You had one job on designing my new identity." Y/n complaints as Kaeya gave her a different  design that she need to wear to disguise as a different person. Kaeya was on the floor, having a hard time breathing from laughing too much.

I will fucking kill Kaeya Alberich once I find out this is the one I'll be wearing. Y/n thought.

"Sorry for the trouble, Miss Y/n. This will be your attire with your corset and high boots." One of the knights excused themselves for coming into her room and gave the attire to Y/n.

Y/n thanked the knight before watching them leave. She looked back down to Kaeya who was still laughing, and tsked.

"Kaeya, I'm gonna go change with these. Help me with my corset once I'm done." Y/n walked inside the bathroom and changed. It took her 2 minutes to change before coming back out, seeing Kaeya on her bed trying out her corset.

"Kaeya, please. This is like the 12th time I caught you trying my corsets." She crossed her arm on her chest and stood by the doorway of her bathroom.

"Oh, dear Y/n. I do really like your corsets that I thought of actually wearing one." Kaeya took a look of himself on the mirror with him wearing it. Y/n couldn't lie, but Kaeya do actually look good with corsets. It defines his body, mostly his small waist.

"Tell a seamstress to make you one. Corsets do actually look good on you. Now help me wear it." Y/n couldn't disagree if someone said Kaeya looks so handsome without doing any effort.

Kaeya took the corset off and let Y/n wear it. He tightens the corset, not too tight for her to comfortably move. "That's enough. Thanks, Kaeya." She thanked him.

She walked towards the mirror and looked at herself. I look so different, She thought. Her black hair is now a platinum blonde. Her cryo vision was hanging on her hip before is now moved to the back of her hand. Her clothing was really far different from what she always wear in her daily life. She's wearing a black dress that is knee-length with high black boots.

"Look at you, Y/n. You look absolutely stunning with your new look. I wouldn't be surprised if gorgeous woman like you will get every man's attention." Kaeya complimented her while hugging her from behind. Y/n's face turned red and looked down to prevent Kaeya from seeing her warm face.

"When are you going to say yes to me, Y/n? I've been courting you for a month and you still haven't answered me back." Kaeya pouted and his eyes stared onto her eyes. Y/n let out a sigh before turning him and placed her hands on his chest.

"I know, Kaeya. It's just that I only-," Kaeya pulled her in a hug, cutting her off. "Shh, I know what you're about to say. It's alright. Though it hurt my feelings, I just have to accept the truth."

Ah shit, I got rejected. Kaeya thought. He knew that she doesn't feel the same, but he had to let his feelings out of his chest before she leaves.

Y/n, on the other hand, do not feel the same. She feel bad for rejecting him, for hurting his feelings. Y/n knows that Kaeya is a good man to be in a relationship with. But because of not having the same feelings and being busy as the part of the Knights of Favonius, she doesn't think she could stay in a relationship for that long as she always prioritizes her job.

"I'm sorry, Kaeya." He sighed and pulled her on a hug. Y/n hugged him back and they stood there together for a long time, as if the time had stopped.

"It's totally fine. As long as we still have the way when we are together, I'm always here for you." Y/n smiled at his statement and just as Kaeya stopped talking, a knock was heard from the door. It slowly opened, revealing Eula.

"Enough with love, you two. Y/n has to go in Liyue to travel on the way to Inazuma as her first stop. She also has to stop over Wangshu Inn first before arriving to the Harbor," Eula spoke and smirked at the pair. They slowly pulled away and Y/n started to fix her luggages.

Minutes passed, most of her stuff are now on the carriage. Sadly, Kaeya couldn't come along the trip because of his job being the quartermaster. Y/n now stood by the middle of the bridge, not wanting to leave the city. Eula stopped and looked back at Y/n, who is also looking back at the gates of Mondstadt. Eula walked towards her, placing her right arm on her shoulder.

"Don't want to leave, huh?" Y/n sadly smiled and turned to Eula.

"Do I really have to?" Eula nodded and Y/n pouted.

"Once everything is all settled, you could do whatever you want. Just tell me."

"Once I'll come back to Mondstadt, I will retire as the Co-captain of the Reconnaissance Company and a Knight of Favonius."
