Anxiety (Episode 18)

Anxiety shifted the gun down and said," So you've finally arrived, Jack Carson."

Jack stared at Anxiety and asked," How do you know my name?"

Mark, Kelly, and Carl were so happy to see Jack here that their fear had disappeared for a few minutes. They all know that Jack isn't afraid of anything.
Anxiety walked closer to Jack as Jack's friends backed up. Jack's eyes followed Anxiety as he walked around him.

Anxiety then chuckled and said," Come now Jack. Let's have a civilized chat. I think you'll like the conversation I'll bring up."

Jack clenched his fists and said," I don't trust you. You're a villain. They do what they know best."

Anxiety gasped while bring sarcastic. He then said," And just what is it that Villains know best?"

Jack glared at Anxiety and said," Kill people, steal, or commit unnecessary violence or overall crimes."

Anxiety nodded and said," Fair enough, but I am offering to have a civilized chat about your father."
He then glanced at Jack while putting the gun down into a random empty car.

Jack silently thought to himself," A conversation about my father? Does he know something? There's no way he was the one who killed my father."

Carl whispered to Mark and Kelly while sitting behind a car," You two get down just in case something happens. Already contacted the police."
Mark and Kelly sat next to Carl while still watching Jack and Anxiety.

Jack turned the flames from his hands off and asked," What do you know about my father?"

Anxiety chuckled and said," No no, we don't talk while being in the middle of a highway. Let's take this somewhere else."

Anxiety then gestured for a separate car from where the gun was at. Jack took a deep breath and said," Alright, but you better not try anything."

He then looked at the car where the gun was at and said," Aren't you worried that one of my friends will take the gun and try to use it against you."

Anxiety chuckled and said," I turned the trigger to stone. The gun won't go off. I'm not worried at all."

Jack nodded and said," Oh... ok."

He then opened the car door and said," Couldn't we just speak outside the car?"

Anxiety said," Get in the car."

They both got into the car and sat next to each other. Jack shifted uncomfortably while staying on guard.

Anxiety took a deep breath and said," So Jack. Your father. The old number 1, but that was 5 years ago. He's long dead now. Maybe that's a good thing."

Jack clenched his fists and said," Did you want to talk just to insult my father?"

Anxiety shook his head while smiling under the mask. He then said," No no. That's not why I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to talk about who killed your father, but also about something else that involves you."

Jack was still on edge. He didn't trust Anxiety at all and he had every right not to.

Anxiety crossed his hands and said," You're father got involved with some really dangerous people. That is why he died. That's all I know."

Jack looked out the window and said," That much is obvious. If he was killed it had to be by dangerous people."

Anxiety then said while digging his nails into his skin," The main matter though... Is what happened to my little brother."

Jack looked at Anxiety with a confused expression and said," Sorry? I don't know what you mean?"

Anxiety slammed his fist onto the seat in between them and said," Stop the damn lying Jack. My little brother used to be your best friend... up until he was killed on that horrible day."

Jack went to open the door, but Anxiety locked the doors and said," Tell me what the hell happened that day Jack!"

Jack yelled back," I don't know what the hell you're talking about! You're just some random ass villain who tried to kill my friends!"

Anxiety crossed his legs and said," Does the name... Chris ring any bells?"

Jack stared at him wide eyed and said," No... I tried to just forget about that. I couldn't do anything to save him."

Tears formed in Jack's eyes as he said," After all... I was only 6 years old and didn't even have my powers yet."

Anxiety wiped the sweat from his head and said,"Interesting reaction. I brought him back to life... To fight and kill you."
