"Taylor." I heard someone whisper. I groaned then turned over on my side.
"Come on, Taylor. Get up." The voice whispered again. Only this time, the voice sounded excited.
I groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes. I opened my eyes to see Ryan smiling like a kid on Christmas.
"Whaaat?" I dragged out. I hate mornings.
"You're going to be late." He said, still smiling.
I looked at my clock and saw it said 11:45. I looked at him in confusion.
"Late for what?" I asked with a yawn.
"The meeting with the Silverstone pack at 12." He said, laughing out loud.
I looked at him then at the clock that read, 11:47 with wide eyes. I forgot to set my alarm.
"Oh my gosh! I'm going to be late!" I exclaimed. I hopped out of bed only to end up with my face on the floor.
I groaned while trying to get up with the help of Ryan, who was laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes.
"T-Taylor, you should've s-seen your face while y-you was falling." He said, still laughing.
"Oh, shut up," I said, annoyed. I headed towards my bathroom and brushed my teeth and put my hair in a ponytail.
When I was about to exit the bathroom, I jumped back, startled to see Ryan standing in the doorway. He was still laughing, but not as hard as before.
"Move out of the way. I have to get ready." I said while trying to get around him. I know I could easily move him out of the way, but I don't want to hurt him.
"You can wear what you have on." He said with a smirk.
I had just remembered that I was only in a tank top and panties. I pulled down my tank top and told him to get out. He smirked before he left out of the bathroom and my bedroom.
I walked out of my bathroom and took a peek at the clock.
"It's 11:56. Great. Now I get to rush. And no breakfast." I said, running to my closet. I decided to wear a white short sleeve shirt and black pants with my combat boots.
I took one last look at myself in the mirror then headed out the door with my keys and phone in my hand.
I ran downstairs and linked Kevin, telling him I'm leaving.
While I was making my way towards the front door, I was greeted with a lot of, 'Hello, Alpha' and 'Good evening, Alpha'.
I nodded at them and made my way out the door.
Ryan was in the passenger seat while Mason was in the back seat of my red jaguar. I call her Feisty.
I ran to the driver's side and got in. I put my keys in the ignition and started the car.
I pulled out of the driveway and got on the road. I looked at the time on my phone, which read: 11:59.
Looking back at the rode, I pushed my foot on the gas pedal harder so I could get there quicker. Their pack is only like 2-5 minutes away, but I still wanted to be on time.
"Taylor, you need to slow down before we get a ticket," Ryan said, looking at me with a panic expression.
"Or crash." I looked through the rearview mirror at Mason, who had the same look on his face.
"Whatever. I don't want to be late. So y'all shut up." I said, making the car silent.
I looked back at the rode, and I could see the Silverstone pack's silver flag, indicating that this is the start of their territory.
As I drove closer, I could see the guards waiting to escort us. I stomped my foot on the brake hard, causing everyone to jerk up in their seats.
Sniffing the air, I smelled the most intoxicating smell. It smelled like vanilla mixed with mint.
"Dang it, Taylor. I almost flew out of this car!" Mason yelled at me.
I raised my eyebrows at his outburst and turned around to show him my wolf didn't like that, and by showing, I mean letting my wolf come forward with her bloody, red-colored eyes.
"What did you say, pup?" I asked in a deadly tone. He gulped and put his head down in submission.
"I'm sorry, Alpha. I didn't mean to say that." He said, still looking down.
I looked at Ryan, who was smirking at me. I smirked back at him and looked at Mason, who still had his head down.
"When we get back to the pack house, you'll be put in the prison for your little outburst," I said to Mason. He looked up at the word prison.
"Please, Alpha. It was an accident." He said with fear in his eyes.
I looked at Ryan, who knew what I was about to do. He nodded his head, agreeing with me. We both looked at Mason, who was staring at us with fear.
"GOT EMMM!" We both said at the same time, laughing so hard.
Mason let out a breath of relief and rolled his eyes. He sat back in his seat and looked out the window. I faced back towards the front and seen the guards were waiting.
I waved my hand, telling them to lead the way. They nodded and turned and started walking us into their territory.
I looked at the time and seen it said 12:10.
"So much for being on time," I mumbled to myself.
I sighed and looked back up at the rode. A big house came into view. Three men were standing at the entrance, leading to that intoxicating smell.
"Y'all smell that?" I asked out loud.
"Smell what?" Ryan asked, sniffing the air.
"Nothing. It must just be me." I said, shaking my head to get rid of the smell.
I only recognized two of the men, which were Michael, the beta, and Zane, the third. The other man I didn't know was utterly beautiful.
His black hair was everywhere, as if he has been running his hands through it. He had on a black shirt that showed his eight pack. Not six pack, but eight pack, with shorts and some sneakers. His blue eyes looked like the ocean, and I could get lost in them forever.
I stopped right after the guards stopped and took a deep breath and let it out.
"You ready, Alpha?" Ryan asked, looking at me.
I looked at him and nodded.
"Okay, boys. Time to put our game faces on." I said before we all got out of the car and made our way towards the men.
