Taylor's POV
I entered through their pack house and made my way to Derek's office. I knocked on the door, waiting for him to let me in.
"Come in." He said. I opened the door and stepped in with Joshual right behind me. Derek looked up from his desk and smiled at me. When his eyes landed on Joshual, he frowned.
"Have a seat." He gestured towards the chairs. I crossed my arms over my chest and narrowed my eyes at him.
"What was so urgent?" I asked. He sighed and stood up and sat on his desk.
"Kevin came by here earlier." He mumbled.
"What did he say?" I asked. He crossed his arms and smirked at me. Joshual growled and walked up to his desk.
"What did he say?" Joshual asked. Derek threw his hands up and hopped off the desk.
He walked over to me and stood in my face. Joshual growled and was about to pull him out of my face, but stopped when he said,
"I want to see if the rumors are true."
"What rumors?" Joshual asked.
"That Taylor is the white wolf." He mumbled, looking at Joshual. I growled, making him turn to me.
"This isn't the time to be playing games." I snarled out. He scoffed and walked out the door. I growled and walked after him.
"Derek!" I yelled. He kept walking. I glared at his back side. He walked out the door and turned around. We were standing in the front of his pack house.
"Prove it to me." He said.
"I don't have to prove anything." I said. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.
"I need to know if you are the white wolf before I do what I want to do." He said. He was pacing around and to me he looked like a crazy lunatic.
"What are you talking about?" Joshual asked. He stopped pacing and looked over at Joshual.
"I want to join you in your fight against Kevin." My eyes widened in shock.
"What?" Joshual muttered out. Derek sighed and rubbed his hand over his face.
"Show me you're the white wolf and I'll tell you everything I know." He said.
"Taylor, you don't-"
"I need to know what Kevin told him, Joshual. If I can get information this way then why not go ahead and do it?" I cut him off saying.
I closed my eyes and focused on shifting. My bones started to move in different angles and before I knew it, I was fully shifted. I stood up and shook out my fur. I looked at Derek, who had his mouth hung open.
"Wow." He breathed out. He began to walk towards me, but stopped when Joshual growled.
"Can I?" He asked. I tilted my head to the side. What does he want to do now?
"Can you what?" Joshual asked.
"Touch her. Just to confirm she is real." He said. I shook my head no and shifted back. I straightened out my clothes and glared at Derek.
"I'm not some type of dog you can touch. Now, tell me what Kevin said to change your mind." I demanded.
"How do you shift back into your clothes?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Derek," I warned. He sighed and walked up to me. Joshual came behind me and growled at Derek.
"I want her to see for herself." He told Joshual. I narrowed my eyes at him.
