•Chapter 36- Epilogue•

      Taylor's POV

  *FIVE DAYS LATER*

"Hurry! He is going to be here any minute and you're not even dressed." Maria screeched out. I chuckled and nodded.

She left out the room, leaving me to my thoughts. I sighed and sat on the bed. So much stuff has happened in the last five days. The day after the battle, Joshual asked me on a date. It was so romantic. Even though it was just a little picnic, the view was beautiful.

The day after that, I met his parents. They are so funny. His mom, Susan, showed me all of his baby pictures. He was so adorable. His father, Peter, told me all kinds of stories about his past. It was really interesting if you asked me.

While I was there, I ran into Maria. Instead of fighting, I confronted her and asked her what was wrong.

We worked things out and she found her mate, which happens to be in my pack. She has became a better person and I'm glad she isn't throwing herself at men anymore.

The third day, he took me out on another date. We went out to the town and went to all different places. Yesterday, his mom invited me over for lunch. She cooked pasta and later on that day, Maria and I went to this new club.

Now, today is the day I will say the three words he has been waiting for me to say. I know he can't wait any longer, I can feel him. The mark has been making the connection between us stronger because we haven't completed the mate bond.

To be honest, I can't wait any longer either. My wolf is restless and every time we would get in a heated make out, he would pull away and say, "If we go any further, I won't be able to control myself and I know you aren't ready."

He leaves me frustrated and I can't think during the day, but tonight he won't be able to do that. I will tell him my true feelings and see how it goes from there.

"Taylor! Are you ready?!" I sighed and looked down at the clothes she bought for me.

It was a cute red dress that went all the way down to my knees. I pulled up the dress, trying to cover the cleavage that was showing. I had on black flats, because I don't do great with heels. My hair was left alone and my makeup was light.

I smiled.

"Yeah. I'm ready." I said. She came into the room and I saw admiration in her eyes. She walked over to me and smiled.

"You look beautiful." She said. I chuckled and gave her a hug.

"Thanks." I said. She froze in her spot then pushed me back, gently. I furred my eyebrows together in confusion.

"I don't want to mess up your dress and your makeup." She said. I rolled my eyes.

"Where am I going anyway?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Can't tell ya." She said. I pouted and crossed my arms.

"Please..."

"Nope. Now, come on. He'll be here in the minute." I sighed and nodded my head. I walked out the door and towards the stairs.

When I got to them, I saw Joshual standing at the bottom. He was wearing a black button shirt and black jeans. His hair was laid back.

When our eyes made contact, he smiled and I saw the emotion that I could show him tonight. Love. I smiled and made my way downstairs. When I made it to him, he pulled me in a hug and kissed me.

I responded immediately and started to kiss him back. He pulled back, making me pout. He chuckled and kissed my forehead.

"We can do that later. Right now, I want to go on our date." He said. I smiled and nodded.

He opened the door and let me walk pass him to the car. Oh, I forgot! He got me a new car. Well, us a new car. He wouldn't let me get a car of my own, saying I'll get 'too obsessed'. Yeah right. He ran to the car and opened the door for me. I smiled.

"Thank you." I said. He nodded. I got in the car and he closed the door. He ran to his side and got in.

"So..." I said. He turned on the car and pulled out.

"So?" I looked over at him and crossed my arms.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Somewhere." I groaned and pinched his arm.

"Ow. What was that for?" He asked. I shrugged and looked out the window. I let out a shaky breath and played with my fingers.

'You can do this. I know you can.' Rose said. I smiled and nodded.

'Thanks, Rose.' I said. She barked and laid down in a corner in my mind.

"We're here." I looked at him then outside the window. We were at the cliff. He got out and opened my door. I got out and looked around. He grabbed my hand, leading me towards the cliff.

"Slow down. You're going to make me fall." I said. He chuckled then stopped walking. He turned around to me and covered my eyes.

"What are you doing?" I asked. He began to walk backwards, still holding his hand over my eyes. He moved his hand and I opened my eyes.

"Wow." I breathed out.

We were standing at the end of the cliff and the view was amazing. The moon reflected itself on the water below. The waves looked calm and it had a peaceful feeling about it.

"I wanted to get you out the house so you could see the view." I turned towards him and smiled. I wrapped my arms around his neck and squeezed with all my might.

"Thank you! Thank you!" I said. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. I pulled back.

"What's this?" I asked. I pointed at the water. I looked closer and gasped. In the water, there were rose petals and they were arranged where it formed two words.

"Marry me?" I read out loud.I looked at Joshual and saw he was bent down on one knee, a little box in his hand.

"Taylor, you are my heart and soul. I want to marry you, so it can be extra confirmation you belong to me," I chuckled, "I want you to have my pups and... I love you." He said. I rubbed the tears from my eyes.

"Yes." I whispered. He put the ring on my finger and stood up.

"I love you so much." I whispered, wrapping my arms around his waist. He stepped back and twirled me around. He put his finger under my chin, making me look up at him.

"Forever." He said. I leaned up and smiled.

"And always." I finished. He leaned down and captured my lips between his. He pulled back and smiled.

"I love you, my Female Alpha."
