Bright sunny day, Clarence House, 2009. Delly had her first piano lesson with Camilla and Catherine.

This piano has a black matte-ish appearance. And when Camilla opened the lid of the piano, Delly saw the white ivory and ebony-styled keyboard.

The staggering black and white keys give birth to a variety of wonderful music. It is so charming, it is simple and vivid. The clean black and white keys sublimate the soul of the music.

Kate sat her daughter down on the chair and put her small palms onto the keyboard, hovering her thumb over the middle C, she said, "Delly, look, this is C, Do."

After Delly learned all her notes, she was ready to play them. Kate released her hold of Delly's hand. Instantly, Delly's hands laid down on the piano, like a withered flower. Kate was not happy.

She grabbed a coin out of her purse and put it in the back of Delly's hands. She told her, "raise your fingers high and strike them down using the power of your fingers only, do not move your wrist, or this coin will fall down."

Delly looked up at her Mumma, in her eyes, Delly didn't see anything which she saw a month ago on the ice rink. There is no love, no care, no nothing. There is only something that Delly read as determination. The determination to make her daughter a competent young lady, or rather, to show the world that her daughter was competent.

Delly did not fail her mumma's expectations. She was able to play twinkle twinkle little star. She was so happy to show it to her grandparents.

A few days later, HM and Philip came for a visit to Clarence House. Delly sat by the piano again and played. *Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol    Fa Fa Mi Mi Re Re Do    Sol Sol Fa Fa Mi Mi Re    Sol Sol Fa Fa Mi Mi Re    Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol Fa Fa Mi Mi Re Re Do*

The simple tune flowed, though not very fluently, from the blondie's fingertips. It went through the gardens of Clarence House, through the trees, flowers, and creatures. Delly will hear this tune and remember the times she spent with her grandparents and great-great parents. She'd play this tune very often, even when she knew how to play some much harder songs, just to feel the connection to this specific moment in time. Frozen in Delly's memories. Forever and ever.
