YELENA POV
------------------
The anger I hold in against Rosanne and Natalia is unspeakable. I always recount the night I found out that they left without me. The night comes during the night, and I only wake up fuming. The beauty of the Red Room hasn't left me since they left. I will always be grateful for the food and shelter they provide, and they only ask a small price from all of us. Just train in their basic methods, and work for them. If we disobey them, we only have a little punishment. No pain during the time we spend here. No pain. No pain. No pain.
These words have been wired in my brain for three years. Since Rosanne and Natasha-no, Natalia escape-betrayed the Red Room. I fight it all the time, but the drug is too strong. Natalia and Rosanne should not even be part of my life anymore. They-
"Yel? Just wanted to see how you're doing." Blood red hair peeked through the door.
I smiled. Respitille has always looked out for me. She is the kindest person I've ever met. I was in the torture room, but I'm used to the pain. The session is over, but I can't walk- I have no pain. No pain.
"I'm fine Repsitille," I reply.
Respitille enters and gives me a bottled red liquid. She then runs outside, waving goodbye, and leaves. Confusion envelopes me. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS. I eventually surmise that this is medicine and try to open it. Even with a can-opener, I get nowhere. I get impatient and fed up, so I smash the bottle onto the floor which releases a red gas.
My mind immediately clears, and the anger I feel at Ros and Nat- Yes! is gone. I go to the med bay and put up my mind-controlled act. I look for the code to escape all over my room when I return but to no avail. I mentally smack myself. I must have thrown it away!! Ughh! I look in the trash can, but it isn't there. I try to recall my memories and remember fuzzy numbers. The first one looks like an eight, well a figure eight. The second number looks like a two, and a four and seven are next. I'll really miss Respitille, but I miss Ros and Nat more. Ivan has given me backdoor duty, and I sprint to the backdoor as fast as a lightning bolt. I enter the code. 8. 2. 4. 7. The door does not open. I am VERY confused.
I then whisper my name into the machine, and the door swings open, to reveal the outside. As I run through the forest, I see a Quin Jet, and my lips curl into a smile. I see the people come out of the Quin Jet. A man with blonde hair, a woman with red hair- wait. As I squint at the figure, It elicits a gasp from my lips. Nat. The next agent is DEFINITELY Ros. I recognize her immediately, with her striking hair and the familiar purple wisps enveloping her as she lights up the forest. Most of the widows are on a mission, so they only have to guards and the staff to deal with.
I sneak onto the Quinjet and see a stack of files at the very back of the jet. I flip my way through them, and I see a file with an agent that looks very alike to me except for her facial structure. Her name is Adara Neckshova. The label DEAD is printed across the file and the family status says that she has a sister called Nissa Neckshova. My lips curl into another smile, the second one of the day. I take out my phone and call the number printed on the bottom of the file. (The phone text is in italics because I'm lazy)
Who is this?
Nissa Neckshova, I would like to speak to the Director, please.
I hear a gasp from the other side of the phone.
The Director will be on the line shortly, Ms. Neckshova............ Hello, I am the director of SHIELD, what would you like me to help you with?
I would like to join SHIELD as an agent please, to avenge my sister's death.
I bite my lip, and I hear ruffling on the other side.
The rest of the conversation is a run through of my defense and hacking experience, which thankfully is high. I am accepted as a desk job agent, and a file writer. I let out a breath, and hang up after saying goodbye. The man, Nat, and Ros walk inside into the Quin Jet, and Ros slaps the Captain awake, and I duck under the seat and wait out the rest of the flight.
