STEVE POV (trying a new one)
---------------
Is this a normal feeling? I try to shake it off, but I just can't forget her. Her fighting style, her hair, and her eyes. Those eyes, they just embed into my memories. I cannot forget them! Argh!
"Agent Rogers? Your sparring session with Na-Agent Romanoff is in two minutes, you better hurry to the gym," A voice says, interrupting my mental conversation.
Nissa Neckshova. Our new agent. She was supposed to be a file writer, but when she sparred with Nat in front of Fury, he let her become an agent. I have this nagging feeling that she isn't who she's supposed to be, because she slips up sometimes and says Nat, instead of Agent Romanoff, but she could just be calling her Natasha. I get changed into some gym clothes, and walk downstairs, ready for our sparring match. We spar every two days, and Nat sometimes wins. Mostly a draw. We have become really good friends with each other, and I really want to hang out, but I wimp out a lot of the time.
After the spar session, I muster the courage to ask Nat out.
"Um... Nat, do you want to come with me to eat cannelloni tomorrow night at 7 o'clock? It's not a date or anything, I just want to hang out." My mind tingles with waves of shock.
"Uh, Okay? Why not?" her voice quivers with nerves.
I smile at her, and I briefly see Nat's eyes light up with love, but I was probably just imagining it. Suddenly she smiles at me, and she starts glowing as she runs out of the door. Shimmering, Shining. The last time I felt this was with...Peggy. I can't do this to her. Peggy will always be my love, even if she is very old. I walk up to my room, take a shower and sit on the bed. I feel...very happy. Giddy, if you will. Her face was still stuck inside my brain, even more now.

5 YEARS LATER (I know, big time jump, it's 2013)
----
Well, five years pass pretty fast, Her face is still in my mind, but she's not single anymore. Two years ago, she got with Bruce. She isn't in love with him, I can tell. I haven't seen her for months. Bruce forced Fury to let her change partners, and we don't have missions together anymore. Nat doesn't live in her house anymore and moved in with Bruce. It's ironic really, We live opposite of each other, and I barely get to see her. Today, Bruce went on a mission with someone else, I saw the lock of her door click. She stepped out, revealing green eyes I haven't seen in a month. She knocked on my door, and when I opened the door, she burst into tears.
"Hey, are you okay?" I ask her, hoping that she is.
She shakes her head and hugs me. I invite her to sit down with me on the couch, and then Nat's crying stilled.
"He keeps me away from everyone, I haven't even seen Clint for months. The only communication I have with him is phone calls," she says between sniffles. She buries herself deeper into our embrace, and her sniffles stop. She wrings her hands, and then she immediately hides under the couch. I look around until I see Bruce at the door.
" Bruce, what are you doing here?" I ask. Fury bubbles inside me, but I keep nonchalant on the outside.
"Don't play games, I saw Nat hide under the couch. You kidnapping her or something?! She is mine!" he exclaims. This is a madman in front of me.
"Bruce, Nat isn't some prize to keep, she is an actual person! She needs her friends, not just her boyfriend!" I retort. I can't conceal my fury anymore. Nat deserves the best, I am not the best, but Bruce is not either.
He growls and gives me a dirty look before leaving.
"You better be careful, I have a way to the lab." He says. I just roll my eyes at him.
Nat appears from beneath the couch, and She smiles at me. I smile back at her, and even though she's covered in dust, I lean in and press my lips against hers, unleashing a world of wonders, all of which could be accompanied by Nat.
