Once they'd returned to the safe grounds of the castle, the housemates started to head to their respective Common rooms. But before the two Slytherin boys could go any further, Harry called out Soren.
"Soren, wait, can we speak?"
Soren looked at Draco, and the blonde-haired boy nodded. He then went to stand near a wall while waiting for his friend.
Soren went to join the Golden trio's conversation.
"You mean You-Know-Who's out there, right now, in the forest?" Hermione asked. Harry nodded:
"But he's weak. He's living off the unicorns. Don't you see? We had it wrong! Snape doesn't want the Stone for himself; he wants the Stone for Voldemort. With the Elixir of Life, Voldemort will be strong again. He'll... he'll come back."
"But, if he comes back, you don't think he'll try to... kill you, do you?" Ron asked, alarmed.
"I think if he'd had the chance, he might've tried to kill me tonight." Harry said.
"And to think I've been worrying about my Potions final." Ron gulped. "What about Soren? He was with you! Would he have killed him too?!"
Soren was very tired and still shaken by the event, and talking about his potential death only scared him more. He really wanted to go back to his dorm, and sleep-in the next day to forget everything as if it was just a nightmare.
"Hang on a minute. We're forgetting one thing. Who's the one wizard Voldemort always feared? Dumbledore. As long as Dumbledore's around, Harry, you're safe. As long as Dumbledore's around, you can't be touched." Hermione made a point.
"She is right." Soren said, his voice shaking a little. "We are in the castle now." Soren glanced at the trio dead in the eyes. "Good night."
The raven-haired boy then proceeded to head to his snake friend, and together they went to the dungeons.
Fortunately for them, the next day was a Saturday. Soren used all this time to sleep in. He was surprised that he didn't have a single nightmare that night. He supposed that his mind was too tired to process everything.

The next month, every student was busy studying for their exams. It was said that Hogwarts's exams were frightful. The library was full, and everywhere, every student was walking with a book in a hand.
Soren, Draco, Katrina, and Winnie were all siting together at a small table at the back of the library, near the window. They were lucky to find a free table, and when Draco spotted one, he rushed to it and sat down throwing all his heavy books on top of it. Marking his territory (however, the sound of falling books was so loud that the librarian wanted to send him away).
"Alright, what's the first subject?" Katrina asked.
"How about Potions?" Winnie suggested quietly.
"Then, I'm going to ask each of you a question." Katrina started with Draco:
