This chapter is dedicated to Active_at_Night.
They are an amazing reader and have been here since the very start as far as I can remember! They're a huge contribution to my motivation for this book XD.

*Back home*
I gently pushed the door shut to the black car and gave one last wave to the driver before turning to the gate.
My luggage was small and light enough to carry on my shoulder which made it easy to walk to the main building.
My shoes kicked the dirt about which gave the wind a better opportunity to blow it on to my clothes.
I haven't showered since before boarding the plane which was about a whole 24 hours ago. Thankfully, I didn't stink but I didn't feel clean either.
I had a lot of fun at home and was a bit saddened to leave again. Most of the dojo was there as my dad drove me off to the airport, ready to bid me goodbye and I'm sure I saw a dramatic tear here or there.
But ultimately, I'm glad to be back at BC Sol too.
As I got closer to the main building I noticed Cuza on top of the gazebo.
As in, on the roof of the gazebo. I tilted my head in confusion and was about to walk over to question him when Honey and Kit suddenly cut in front of me.
"Sorry!" They called out without even looking at who they almost ran over. They may be small but their steps are not. I held out a hand in their direction as my face contorted into surprise.
"Uh, hold on!" But they were already gone.
And when I turned to find Cuza, he had also disappeared.
As I continued to make my way to the building, I noticed many BC Sol members running around frantically, as if looking for something.
Or someone.
A few of them saw me and waved briefly before running off again but most of them didn't notice my return.
I wasn't hurt of course, I wasn't exactly gone for that long anyway. But I wondered just what was so important that they couldn't even stop to say a proper 'hi'.
I made it all the way through the building, dropped my bag off to my room, and right to the door of Kris' office without being stopped once to have a conversation.
I spotted Valt at one point but he disappeared just as quickly as he came. Then, Carl flew after. Even the bird was looking.
I sighed and knocked on the door.
"Come in." Kris' muffled voice came from behind the door so I pushed it open.
"Hey, Krissy." I started while just barely dodging a fast-paced Anton passing through.
"Uh, what's with all the excitement? What are we looking for?"
I closed the door behind me and looked at her only to freeze in my steps.
I blinked once, then twice, then rubbed my eyes to be sure I wasn't hallucinating.
There, laying on the couch without a care in the world, was the boy who had been on my mind since he left.
He was wearing his usual attire, almost nothing had changed actually.
He had his hands behind his head and his eyes closed as if he was sleeping.
However, the smirk on his face told me otherwise.
I should've called out his name or maybe scolded him for smirking like that but at this moment, the only thing I could focus on was his hair.
