No One POV
Joohyun arrived to the hospital and enter the emergency room . She was greeted by Mina who was weak . "Mina! are you okay? You should get rest" Mina shook her head . Joohyun sighed then look at her daughter worriedly . "Poor my baby , she didn't deserve this" then she gestured Mina to sit outside . Mina just nodded slowly and wait outside . Joohyun went outside then sit beside Mina . "How can it be happen?" Mina look at Joohyun then she tell it . Joohyun patted her back "Gwanchana , my baby will be fine" she smile sadly .
"A-actually Ms Joohyun , I-I kinda h-have feeling towards y-your daughter" Mina looked down because she know Y/N's mother reject her but she was hugged by Joohyun . "Mina , I trust you to take care of my baby , I know it's hard to deny your feelings and I would accept you as my daughter in law" Mina look her with wide eyes "Plus I was planning to bring you to go Italy , so why not you propose her on that day too?" Mina was speechless awhile .
"Is it okay for you Ms Joohyun?" Joohyun just nodded then Mina smiled . "Thank you Ms Joo-" Joohyun cutted her ."Cut the formalities , call me mama from now" Mina nodded . Joohyun and Mina went back to the room and patiently waiting Y/N to respond . "Mina-yah , you should go back now . Mama can take care of her" Mina smile sadly . "It's fine mama , you should go back . I can take care of it since I don't have meeting this week" Joohyun nodded then bid goodbye to Mina . Mina look at Y/N and tucked her hair behind her ears ' please wake up , I missed you ' she mumbled then fell asleep .
The next day , Mina woke up then still have no response from Y/N . She sighed heavily then went out to grab some breakfast . She went to Lisa's cafe and greeted by Johnny . "Since a while to see you , what can I get you?" Mina smile sadly "I will just get americano" Johnny nodded then he realized Mina was tired . "You look tired Mina" Mina hummed "Yeah just Y/N admitted to the hospital-" Lisa cutted her "What?!! What happen to her!!" Johnny calmed her down . "M-my e-ex was escaped from prison then she stabbed Y/N" Lisa sighed.
"That was insane! I doubt your ex was obsessed to you Mina-ya" Lisa looked at her worriedly . "I know , I'm scared that she will find me again" Johnny patted her back . "I will going back to the hospital " Johnny stopped her "I will accompany you to the hospital for your safety" Mina nodded then both of them goes to the hospital . While both of them were walking , Mina stopped her track when she saw Chaeyoung with her crazy eyes
"Love....who is he? Is your new boyfriend?" Chaeyoung look at Johnny . "J-Johnny let's g-go" Mina scared but Chaeyoung came close to Mina and grip her hair . "Love , you know I hate when you are cheating on me" She sniffed Mina's hair then Johnny pushed her . "Back off Chaeyoung , she doesn't need you anymore" Chaeyoung look at him then punch his face but Johnny grip her hand . Johnny look at her with his cold gaze . "Back off before I call the po-" Chaeyoung hit Johnny's head with bat . He hissed in pain
"Come love , we will be happy-" Mina kicked her stomach then she groan in pain . "Fuck you , are you disobeyed me? Come here!" Chaeyoung grips Mina's hair then Mina cried in pain . Johnny on the other side take Chaeyoung's bat and hit Chaeyoung's head . Mina run behind Johnny . "Stay here" Mina nodded then watch Johnny hit Chaeyoung until bleeding . Johnny sighed heavily then called the police .
"Are you fine?" Mina nodded then she look Johnny's head . "Y-You're bleeding!" Mina panicked but Johnny smile . He take his napkin then wipe his head . "Let's send you back to the hospital then I will have my treatment" both of them continued walking until arrived at hospital. Mina left Johnny at the counter then she enter the room . Y/N heart rate still normal but Mina felt sad when Y/N unconscious . Mina drank her americano then lay down on the couch.
Mina POV
'I felt empty when she still not awake . I'm hoping that she will wake up soon . Y/N-ah , I'm still waiting for you . Your mother and your friends worried about your condition , I'm scared to lose you , please be strong for me' I mumbled then kissed her forehead . I close my eyes and getting some rest . A few hours later , I look at my wristwatch that showed 2pm . Mama came back and bring some lunch for me . "Is she still not awake?" I shook my head . I smile sadly then start to dig in .
I called Karina to inform that I'm going to have a break for a week to take care of Y/N . I hung up then went to Mama and sit beside her . "My baby is a strong person , she never give up to make people's comfortable with her" I hummed . "Mama c-can I ask you s-something?" Mama just smile and nodded . "Where is Y/N's father?" Mama stay silent . "I shouldn't ask you abou-" Mama cutted me "No , it's fine . Me and my husband was divorced when Y/N was 15 . That's why you didn't saw her father" I hugged Mama and felt guilty about Y/N .
It's just same story like me but no one knows her struggle to move on from the past life
