"Wait, I'm sorry. We're going to what?" I said, frowning. My mother and father looked at each other and sighed. They had to keep repeating themselves for the past 10 minutes.

"We're moving," they said once more. I sat down and crossed my arms. I did not want to leave this area. Such great scenery. "We'll give you time to make something for the Rengoku family. Obanai too." I looked up. I already had an idea for what I wanted to gift the Rengoku family.

I looked at Kaburamaru, who was already looking at me. I was gonna give Kaburamaru to Obanai. I've seen the way that Obanai held Kaburamaru, the way Kaburamaru reacted. I remember when Kaburamaru and I first met

As I walked around town, I saw some kids gathered around something. They seemed to be holding rocks and hitting something.

I made my way over and saw it was a small white snake. It was bleeding. It looked at me. I pushed the kids aside and picked the snake up. I ran home and began taking care of the snake until it was fully recovered.

After it was fully healed, I let it go into the wild. It took one last look at me and slithered away. The next day, the snake came back and brought me a leaf hairpin. I looked at it and narrowed my eyes. "Did you steal it?" the snake looked at me as if to say no. I smiled a bit and picked up the hair pin.

A few days passed and I noticed that the snake kept following me. Everywhere I went, I always saw the snake. I eventually told my parents about it, telling them I had saved a snake from kids who were beating it with a rock.

My parents had looked at each other before looking at me. Startled. They pointed at something and I looked, and the snake was there. Looking at me. I looked at the snake and then my parents again.

They both looked at each other again before saying, "That is a white snake, it's said that those bring good luck and wealth." I looked at the snake and then looked at my parents. "Maybe the good luck could help me"

Ever since that day, I kept the snake. It took me a few days to name him. Turns out that the snake was male.

I finally settled on Kaburamaru. Kaburamaru seemed to like his name.

It's been about a few years now. I can't remember the exact amount of years it has been since I first met Kaburamaru. But it has been a few years though.

I got up from the living room and went to my room. I looked around until I found my sewing kit. I then began working on some scarves for Kyojuro's parents.

Kyojuro was gonna get a sweet potato plushy, and Senjuro was gonna get a stuffed cat.
