I'm genuinely surprised you people like this book. Not that I'm complaining tho.

I've been called to a meeting with Kagaya and the Hashira? I'm somewhat scared. Am I in trouble? Did I do something wrong? Well... at least the meeting was in the night. I think they also want Rui to come? They didn't say anything about leaving Rui with someone.

So might as well have him tag along with me.

"Okaa-san, where are we going?" Rui asked me, as he looked up at me. I sighed, and looked at Rui. "I was called to a Hashira meeting? They didn't say anything about leaving you with someone, so I decided you could also tag along" I replied.

Rui seemed to give me a simple nod in reply. "hey, I wanna go into my box." I nodded and stopped walking, took the box off of my shoulders, and put it on the floor, opening the door. Rui shrunk and then went into the box, closing the door behind him.

I picked the box up, and put the straps on my shoulders, before walking again. It might be a long walk... maybe about 25-30 minutes?

"Do you think that Y/N is coming?" Mitsuri asked. Shinobu shrugged. "Only one can hope she comes, after all, this is about us talking to Y/N about becoming a Hashira after all!"

"She better come, I have other things to do." Sanemi spoke, as he crossed his arms. "Now don't be like that Sanemi" Gyomei replied. He was sitting on a chair, arms also crossed.

"Why am I here again?..." Muichiro muttered, as he stared off into space. "We're here to talk to Y/N, and see if she's gonna become a Hashira." Shinobu said, as she looked at the door.

"It would be unflashy if she didn't come" Tengen spoke, as he also looked at the door, before looking out the window.

"I just hope she comes" Iguro said, as he stared out a window, zoning out. "I do as well Iguro" Kyojuro replied, as he stood up and stretched.

I looked at the door before me. "Okaa-san. Okaa-san" Rui called out. "Yes Rui?" I replied, walking away from the door. "I can tell you're nervous. Just so you know, I never hurt anyone. So it can't be about me" You rolled your eyes and replied to Rui "I think I would've been notified if you hurt someone? Besides, you're always with me. Well... most of the time anyways"

"Oh ok. Well good luck. I'm staying out here in my box."

"Please come with me. I'ma need you"

"Ok."

I walked towards the door, and took a breath to calm myself down. Why am I so nervous? It's just a simple meeting right? I took another breath to calm myself down, before knocking on the door.

"Ah! Y/N you're here!" Shinobu spoke, as she opened the door, letting me in. "Finally" Sanemi replied. "Sanemi, what did we just talk about?" "Sorry Gyomei.." I entered the room, and looked around, until my eyes rested on Kagaya.

"Hello Y/N. I'm positive you remember the missions you had with the Hashira yes?" Kagaya spoke. "Yes. I remember"

"Those were actually assignments, for the Hashira mainly. They were to observe you while you fight, see what the forms of your breathing look like, and your skills in battle" I nodded in my head in reply. "I see. But if I may, why?"
