Honestly surprised at how far this book made.

I only made this out of pure boredom, not really expecting it to blow up.

This is going to be in Iguro's POV, like I said last chapter.

And I will probably not do any covers for the chapters anymore

"Hello Iguro," Y/N spoke, "How've you been?" She stood there, holding her arms out. I stood there, not believing what I saw. Did she really remember or is this all a joke? I took a step back.

Y/N's arms dropped to her sides. "So no hug?" I still stood there, not believing what I saw. "Ah, may I ask what's going on here?" a voice asked. I turned around and saw Kyojuro.

"Apparently Y/N seemed to have remembered us, but I don't know if this is all a prank" I replied, looking over at Y/N, who was now standing there, looking down at the ground.

"I remember!" Y/N spoke, looking up again. Kyojuro walked towards her. "Alright, if you remember, what's the nickname you gave me, and.... what day it was when you gave Kaburamaru to Iguro?"

Y/N looked at Kyojuro, then me. "The nickname I gave you was Kyo, and I gave Kaburamaru to Iguro when I was moving away" I took a step forward, then began running, tackling into Y/N, hugging her.

The tackle caused us both to fall, but I didn't care. Tears were streaming down my face. Y/N was rubbing my back. "But how did you remember?" I asked, sitting up.

"A dream I have over on Mugen" Y/N replied. Kyojuro sat across from me. "I told you"

I was sitting next to Y/N. I rolled my eyes. "so how've you guys been?" Y/N asked. I looked at her and shrugged. "I've been alright, but I'm now really happy you remembered"

Y/N laughed. "Oh really?" Kyojuro chuckled, then began talking, "He's actually been pretty decent"

I nodded. "And what about you Kyo? How have you been?" Kyojuro shrugged. "I've been okay, busy with missions and stuff. I have been making time to spend time with my family"

Y/N nodded. "That's nice!" Kyojuro looked at Y/N, then turned around. "I hear something" I turned to look.

"Okaa-san" a voice called out. I saw the demon that Y/N carried with her. Both me and Kyojuro turned to look at Y/N, who was walking towards the demon. She held her arms out, and the demon walked into them.

Y/N then hugged the demon.

I glared at the demon. Why is it in her arms? Why did it call her okaa-san?

"Just curious," Kyojuro began, "why did the demon call you okaa-san?" Y/N walked back over and sat down, still hugging the demon.

"I adopted him a while back," Y/N replied. I eyed the demon, and took notice of his features.

He had pale white skin, red dots over some parts of his face. There were some dots where his eyebrows were supposed to be, one below his left eyelid, ending above his nose. There was some red dots running across his right [face] cheek. His hair was a light pink, and the style of it seemed to have resembled a spider's legs.

"Okaa-san, can we do something?" the demon asked. Y/N looked at him, and smiled. I hope she says no.. "I'm sorry Rui, but I want to catch up with my friends, maybe tomorrow?"

The demon, now known as Rui crossed his arms. "But I wanna hang out with you" Y/N pat Rui's head. "I promise I'll hang out with you later, okay?"

Rui frowned, but then nodded. "good enough for me" He stood up, and walked away, joining the demon girl and her brother. They seem to be good friends.

"So you adopted him?" Kyojuro asked, breaking the silence. "Yeah, I originally wanted him to be my adopted demon sibling, but he saw me as a mother figure so I just agreed to it"

[We love Rui]

I nodded. "So what do you guys wanna do?" Y/N asked. Kyojuro and I shrugged.

Y/N stood up, and stretched. "hm... can we go eat somewhere?" Kyojuro looked at me and grinned. What did he have in mind?

"I'll pass, but I think Iguro would like that? Wouldn't you?" Kyojuro said, nudging my arm. I turned and glared at him. "yeah, that sounds nice" I replied, still glaring at Kyojuro.

"Oh, alright", Y/N spoke, before turning and looking at me, "when do you wanna head out?" I shrugged. "Whenever you're ready I guess"

Y/N and I were walking to town. She was talking to me as we walked. Learning from a while ago, I was carrying my nichirin blade. She was carrying hers.

We walked into a restaurant and sat down. Y/N looked over the menu. "Oh, they have my F/F here! I'll get that" Y/N set the menu down and looked at the menu on the table before me.

She looked up and her eyes rested on the bandages on my face. "Ah, that's why you're not ordering anything" She sighed, then looked back at me. "I could cook something for you if you'd like"

I nodded.

She is so nice..

The waiter came, and took Y/N's order, before walking to the other tables. I turned and looked back at Y/N, who was looking around.

"It's been a while," Y/N said, breaking the silence. I nodded in reply. "It has"

Y/N looked up, and held her hand out. I looked at it, and then saw Kaburamaru make his way towards her arm. Kaburamaru was now resting on her shoulders.

She pat his head, which resulted in happy hissing from Kaburamaru. I propped my elbow on the table and placed my chin in my hand, staring at Y/N.

The waiter eventually came with Y/N's food. She handed Kaburamaru back to me, and then began eating. Her eyes sparkled while she ate.

I looked down, and sighed, before looking up. Y/N was already finished eating, and ordering dessert. She's so adorable...

But...

She deserves to be with someone who has good blood though.

I'm not the one fit for that type of role.
