I woke up, and got ready for the day. I grabbed my mask and put it on, before leaving and heading to the head quarters. Today was a day off, thankfully.

When I arrived at headquarters, first thing I did was walk towards what I like to call 'my tree'. On my way, I saw Y/N.. chatting with Kyojuro?

I sighed and walked towards the two. It's not very often that the two talk together. "Oh hey Iguro!" Kyojuro called out, waving. Y/N also turned and then ran up to me and hugged me. "Obanai!! How are you?" she asked, as she pulled away from the hug.

Is Y/N ok?

"I'm... pretty good I suppose" I replied. "ah, that's better than nothing!" Y/N replied. "So.. what are the plans for today Kyo?"

She... called him Kyo..

"Uhh.... I'm not really sure...." Kyojuro replied, as he rubbed his chin in thought. "Oh! I heard that a new ramen shop opened up in a nearby village! We could check that out!" Y/N clasped her hands together. "Ohh! Sounds fun!"

Did... she by any chance... remember?

"You wanna come Obanai?" Y/N asked, looking at me. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her. "I'll tag along" I replied. "Awesome! It'll be like the good days!" Y/N said.

Good days?? Did she remember??

"Hey, Iguro. You've been zoning out a lot." Kyojuro said, as he waved a hand in front of my face. I looked at him. "Can we talk in private for a little bit?" Kyojuro nodded. "We'll be back Y/N!" Kyojuro called out.

"So what's up?" Kyojuro asked, an eyebrow raised. "Did Y/N by any chance remember us?" I asked. "Ah, a matter of fact, I believe so! Considering the fact she called me 'Kyo', and then when she said 'It'll be like the good days', and when she came running up to you and hugging you? I have a high reason she did"

"I mean, I want to ask, but I'm just afraid of her looking at me like I'm crazy" Kyojuro added. I looked over at Y/N, who was now... playing with the grass? "I'm gonna ask her" Kyojuro shrugged. "Alright, best of luck to you"

I walked over to Y/N and tapped her on the shoulder. Y/N turned and looked at me. "Hey!... when's the last time you changed your bandages? Do you need me to help you?" Y/N asked.

I'm starting to think she remembered..

"ah, uhm... I don't remember when I changed them last... anyways I have a question" I replied. Y/N looked at me and nodded. "But after the question, we're changing those bandages."

"Did you by any chance remember me and Kyojuro? If so when?" I asked. "Ah, uhm... just last night actually. I had a dream, but I don't remember how it went" Y/N replied.

She remembered!

"... that's amazing!" I replied. Y/N stood up. "Now come on, let's get those bandages changed" Y/N stood up, and held her hand out. I grabbed it and she helped me get up.

"Excuse us Kyo, I'm going to help Obanai change his bandages and then we can go to the ramen shop!" Y/N said. I gave Kyojuro a thumbs up, letting him know she remembers.

"mmm! this ramen is so good!" Y/N spoke, as she devoured her food. My goodness... "I know right? It's awesome!" Kyojuro replied, as he.. also devoured his food.

These two are so alike... it's kinda funny..

I chuckled to myself. "What's so funny?" Y/N asked, looking at me. "I see so many similarities between you both. I mean, for example, the way you two are just consuming your food. You're just inhaling it. Why not savior the tastes?" I replied, looking up.

"ohh." Y/N and Kyojuro said, at the same time. "jinx!" Y/N called out, "Now, you owe me a drink good sir" Kyojuro chuckled. "Alright" "Don't worry, I can take care of that," I said. "It's all good, I can take care of it myself," Kyojuro said, "but thank you anyways."

"mmm! that ramen was tasty!" Y/N spoke. "I agree with you 100%"

just like the good old days...

I woke up and looked around. It... was a dream?..

DAMMIT.

I got up and got ready for the day, but really cranky. It was such a nice dream...
