No cover this time. I don't feel like making it.
FLASH WARNING IN THE EDIT??
Also, some lovely person somewhat helped me with an idea for this chapter, and it probably will be short, but some people (meaning 2-3) have asked me to update so.Ask and I shall deliver.
Just wait about 2 weeks at most. Everything depends on motivation, and I start school pretty soon anyways. On August 8th.
⩹•••••••••••••••••••••••••••⩺After the mission with the wind pillar, I was tired as hell. I waddled over to my room. I stumbled on my way there. Boy that fight took a toll. The demon was a
I looked around. I sighed, and began walking.
I've been getting these dreams lately. I feel like I'm being told to remember something, or someone. I think I've been given small hints. I think this dream is one.
(YES, I AM ADDING SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT HASN'T BEEN SEEN IN CHAPTER 4½; Also changing some information lol)
I was walking around town, just minding my business, when I saw a group of small kids. Young boys to be exact. There were some young girls, about two or three to be exact. They were behind the young boys, pointing and laughing at something.
The young boys seemed to holding small stones and hitting something. I walked over and looked over their shoulders. It was.... a small white snake. I pushed the small children aside, and picked up the snake, and ran nonstop to my house.
Could this be a memory of mine when I was a kid?
I grabbed some supplies and tried my best to stop the snakes bleeding. Thank goodness it was nothing too severe. After cleaning the blood, I wrapped some bandages around the snakes injuries, and kept it in a box, until it was fully recovered.
I liked the snake, but it probably had an owner, who probably was worried about their snake, and wanting to know the whereabouts. As soon as the snake was recovered, I set it free. It looked at me and then slithered away.
I sighed, and then continued with my life, walking around town, training, etc.
One day, as I was training, I heard slithering. I dropped whatever I was holding and looked down in fear, and saw it was the same white snake that I helped 2 weeks ago.
"Don't you have an owner?" I asked, tilting my head. The snake seemed to have understood me, as it somehow shook it's head. I kneeled down and patted the snakes head with my finger. The snake gave a happy hiss. At least that's what I thought it was. I stood up.
The snake flicked his tongue, and then seemed to leave something at my feet. I kneeled down again and picked it up. It was a leaf designed hairpin.
It's the same hair pin I wear nowadays! I'm starting to feel like I've seen the snake..
I picked the hairpin up and put it in my hair, and looked at the snake. I patted its head with my finger again. It gave a happy hiss and then slithered up my arm, resting on my shoulders.
I walked to my parents, and I told them about the snake, who was now sleeping. They both looked at each other. "You know, it's said that white snakes bring good luck and wealth." I looked at the snake and then looked back at my parents.
"Maybe the good luck part may help me"
Both of my parents chuckled.
I eventually found out that the snake was male. I began calling him different names, tryna see which one he liked. He responded to none of them.
Hm... maybe Kaburamaru...
Boy does that name sound familiar...
I called the snake Kaburamaru and he came towards me. So he likes the name Kaburamaru.
I kept him as my pet.
⩹••••••••••••••⩺
I woke up, now remembering who Kaburamaru was. He was the serpent pillar's snake. But I wonder how he got my snake...
I got up, tossing my blanket aside. I walked outside, and began looking for the snake. Or the Serpent pillar. I just need to gather the courage to ask for his snake...
I walked, and saw the pillar just sitting on a tree, his eyes closed. Kaburamaru himself was also asleep. I took a breath and walked towards the pillar. He was intimidating...
I must've stepped on a twig or a leaf, because Iguro immediately woke up, and fell off the tree. I rushed over to him and held my hand out. He grabbed it and stood up.
"What are you doing up this late? You should be asleep" Iguro spoke, as he crossed his arms. I looked at him. "Well..." "Well?"
"I had this dream and I remembered something" I said, as I looked at the pillar.
→{𝗜𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗼'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩}←
"I had this dream and I remembered something," Y/N said, as she looked at me. Did she finally remember me, or Kyojuro?? I took a breath to calm myself down. I shouldn't get ahead of myself. I don't know yet. She didn't even say who, or what she remembered.
"I remembered the snake," Y/N said. I sighed, and looked at Kaburamaru, who was still sleeping. "I see, that's amazing that you remembered something!" I said, as I turned to look at Y/N. "May I... hold him?" Y/N asked.
I gently picked Kaburamaru off of my shoulder and handed him to Y/N who, held him carefully and observed him. "I remember my parents telling me that it's said that white snakes bring good luck and wealth" Y/N spoke, as she began patting his head with her finger.
I think that caused Kaburamaru to wake up. "Ah, he's awake! Hi Kaburamaru!" Y/N said, as she held him up a bit more, looking at him. Kaburamaru began hissing. "Is he mad?" Y/N asked, as she held her arm out.
Kaburamaru slithered up Y/N's arms, and was now on her shoulders, still hissing. "I think that's happy hissing. He slithered towards you during the trial meeting, but at that time you didn't remember" I replied.
Y/N closed her eyes, and was silent. She snapped. "Ah! Now I remember!" She looked at Kaburamaru, who was still happily hissing. "Is that all you remembered?" I asked.
"At the moment yes" Y/N replied. She handed Kaburamaru back to me. "I'm gonna go back to sleep. Night" Y/N turned and walked away.
Well... even if it wasn't me or Kyojuro she remembered, at least it was Kaburamaru.

OK SO
IDEA, AND I NEED YA'LLS OPINION.
So I was thinking, instead of the Red Light District Arc, Y/N could remember both Iguro and Kyojuro during the Mugen Train Arc right? And then when Uzui takes the trio and Y/N (since she volunteered), Iguro is somewhat overprotective of Y/N, but he still lets her enjoy her time with the trio (since they're technically friends).
Iguro could also just.. glare at Zenitsu whenever he asks for Y/N to marry him.
So I originally intended this to be a short chapter, but me being me with the many ideas in mind, had ideas so it's longer than I originally wanted.
