destiny and vincent go way back, the two being best of friends since the second grade up until now, senior year. destiny discovered her feelings for vinnie her freshman year of high school, not being aware that vinnie felt the same about her.
in the beginning of freshman year, the two had drifted from each other for a month until vinnie was transferred into her english class. the two picked up their friendship where it had left off, but added a small change to it.
vinnie and destiny had began sharing their music with one another, something destiny didn't do with anyone else, it was their 'thing'. a way of showing appreciation for one another, a way of saying 'i love you' without directly saying it.
