          destiny allowed the waves to crash into her thighs, going further into the ocean. she got waist deep and turned around to see her cousin and friends still only ankle deep in the water.

"what are you scared of?" she shouted, throwing her arms in the air and then motioned for them to come deeper into the water.

she heard her cousin shout at her, but couldn't make out what was said. the sound of the waves crashing, seagulls flying, and the children shouting made it hard to hear.

as a wave was about to hit her, she swam through it and turned around to see vinnie and chase getting closer to her. troy and kio stayed behind with kayla.

another wave came and destiny swam through that one as well, swimming deeper into the ocean. she felt someone grab her leg and kicked, swimming above the water for air.

"you asshole, you scared me!" destiny said as soon as her head was above the water, wiping her eyes with her hands and looking at the two boys behind her. "how did you catch up so quick?"

"uhm, we swam." chase answered, earning an eye roll from destiny. the more deep the trio went in, the more calm the ocean was.

"this is the best thing to life." destiny broke the peaceful silence between the three. vinnie nodded and turned around to look at his friends who were back on shore. he ran a hand through his hair and turned to his friends.

"woah. we're kinda far, don't you wanna head back to get closer to the shore?" vinnie asked, more so suggested.

"what? why are you scared?" destiny teased, swimming closer to him. she pinched his cheeks and he pushed her away, causing her to splash water at him.

"ew, that got in my mouth." he complained, spitting into the ocean.

"bro, is that a fucking shark?!" chase shouted, pointing to a dark object in the water. panic was created within the trio as they all raced to shore, destiny turning around to glance at what chase called a shark.

as she turned around, she saw the sea animal jump out of the water and back into the water, it's body curved.

"chase you dumbass, that's a fucking dolphin!" destiny shouted, laughing at the two boys who were swimming as fast as they could. "you're so dumb, why did he listen to you?"

vinnie turned around and let out a sigh of relief. a hug wave was coming and his eyes widened.

"des, watch out!" he warned. destiny turned around and was smacked in the face by the wave. she was taken under water and pulled back by the tide. she tried swimming up to get air but couldn't. another wave hit and she was unable to swim for air.

vinnie and chase noticed destiny wasn't coming back up and once again, panic set through of their body. they both swam to the area destiny was in, both going underwater with their eyes open. they saw the girl was struggling to swim and each grabbed one of her arms, pulling her above the water.
