vinnie walked amelia out of his house, kissing her cheek before she walked off to her dads car. her dad waved at vinnie, vinnie waving back and forcing a small smile.
vinnie walked back inside and went straight to his room, taking his sheets of me the bed and replacing them with new ones. he grabbed the dirty sheets and walked back downstairs, throwing them in the washer.
vinnie decided to shower, playing the playlist he put together of all the songs destiny had sent him from the very beginning of their share of music with one another.
talk 2 u by brent faiyaz came on, vinnie taking a deep breath and shaking his head as he let the water hit his chest.
when vinnie was all done, all he could hear was brent faiyazs voice in his ear. he hadn't looked through the rest of brents music so he decided tonight would be the night he would.
he did his research on brent faiyaz as well, learning that brent released music under another name, sonder.
he typed the name into his phone and played the first song in the only released album, which was feel. he listened to the song in a way and it was accurate.
vinnie knew ezequiel wasnt really the guy she wanted. vinnie knew that if he wanted her that bad, he could have her. or at least, that's the way it used to be. he's ruined everything now.

destiny got the notification and stared at her phone. vinnie hasn't sent her a song in a while, it took her by surprise. she stood up from her bed and turned her speaker on, connecting her phone to her speaker and allowing the song to play.
she listened to the lyrics, nervously laughing and shaking her head. she believed vinnie was truly full of himself. in no way, did he choose destiny.
