Chapter 19

Primrose's POV
"If you're not going to get her, I will."

I went to Marionette's room.

"Mari?"

After a few seconds she woke up.

"Something happened to Aunt Tyla. Your dad is really upset."

She got up and ran to my room. I walked back in and saw her hugging Onyx. I walked over to them.

"Onyx look at me."

I used the tips of my fingers to move his chin up.

"Relax. Breathe. I'll take you to the hospital once you're a bit calmer."

"She's gonna die isn't she?"

"Baby don't put that your head."

5 hours later, I brought Marionette to my parents' house so Elise could distract her. Then I brought Onyx to the hospital. They put us in a private room. He put his head in his hands. I didn't know what to say to him. All I did was rub his back.

When they told us she was out of surgery Onyx started running.

"Onyx! Slow down!"

When we got to the room Tyla was in, he ran in. He grabbed her hand.

"I'm right here!"

After 24 minutes she woke up.

"N-Nyx?"

"Hey! Thank god you woke up!"

"Where's my baby?"

"I-I'm not sure. Baby can you go ask?"

"Yeah sure."

Onyx's POV
Primrose walked away.

"Onyx I'm so scared!"

"I am too. How'd this happen?"

"He was drinking. I was having flashbacks of Mason. I tried to get him to stop. It didn't work. He threw me onto the bed. H-he made me do something."

"What did he fucking do?"

"Rape."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

"He got so mad I was telling him to stop. He grabbed something and started cutting my stomach. I was screaming. My neighbor called the cops."

"Ty..."

I saw Primrose walk back in.

"The baby's okay! They're bringing her here now."

As soon as the baby bed showed up in the room, the hospital went on lockdown.

"What the hell?!"

"It's Patrick! I'm telling you it is!"

"I doubt i-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I felt a pain in my arm.

The fuck just happened?

My sister and Primrose screamed. I looked at my arm. I saw blood and a hole.

"D-did I just get shot?"

"Oh my god!"

"Onyx!"

My blood was creating a pool surrounding me. I sat down in the chair.

"Oh god!"

Tyla was frantically pushing the call nurse button.

"Holy shit. I haven't been in this much pain in, I don't know how long."

Then this time I actually heard the gun go off. It managed to hit my stomach.

"NO! Tyla keep pushing that goddamn button!"

"I am!"

Primrose cupped my face.

"Stay awake!"

I started rubbing Primrose's stomach.

"D-don't do that!"

"It's the only time I'll get to do it."

"No no no. Baby no."

"I-I love you."

My eyes shut.

"FUCK! BABY! NO!"

I heard the loudest scream come from Primrose.

"GET THE FUCK UP!"

"NYX!"

I felt someone shaking me.

"GET UP! GET UP!"

"WAKE UP!"

"COME ON! BABE DON'T DO THIS!"

I woke up in a familiar bed. I felt someone hugging me. I also heard someone crying.

"Wake up. Please fucking wake up. Please. Nyxy I'm begging you."

I groaned.

Is this Rose?

I put my arm around who was hugging me. I started rubbing their back. I opened my eyes and looked down. I saw the top of Primrose's head. I coughed. She picked her head up.

"Baby!"

"H-hey."

She cupped my face.

"Thank god you woke up! I was so scared!"

"I'm sorry. How is everyone?"

"I can't believe you're worrying about everyone else, when you literally died twice. Baby please worry about you."

"How's our baby?"

"Fine. Onyx what did I just say?"

"To worry about me."

"And you just asked how our baby is."

"Hey it's an valid concern Primy."

"Before you ask. Mari is fine too."

"Tyla?"

"Okay. She went home a few days ago. Everything happened at Patrick's house. The baby's name is "Karissa".

"Alex?"

"Onyx Stone Jericho focus on you for fucks sake."

"I-I'm sorry. It's just who I am."

"I know. And it's one of the things I love about you. But for right now, you have to put yourself first."

"Ugh. Fine."

"I'm sorry I'm being demanding. I just want you to get better."

"I know and I understand."

I kissed her forehead.

"I'll be fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm not gonna lie to you. I have no idea."
