"Why?!"

"Princess lower your voice. I'm right in front of you."

"Sorry daddy.."

"Thank you."

"Why can't mommy see him?"

"I wish I know why. I really, really do."

Marionette walked to Primrose. She started hugging her.

"I love you mommy!"

"I love you too MJ."

"I-I thought I'd never see this."

I stood up.

"See what?"

"Y-you having your own family!"

"Well, now you know I do."

"T-this makes me really happy."

Marionette walking over to my mother.

"You need to be nice to my mommy and daddy!"

I pinched my nose bridge.

"Sweetie we literally just had this discussion. You said you'd be nice right?"

"I'm sorry."

"She's right though Onyx. Your mother really should be nice to us. She has put the both of you, through hell."

"Yes. I did. I wish I could take it back."

"Mom you REALLY hurt me."

"I-I know."

"My daddy thought I'd go away!"

"Goddamnit Marionette. There's some things that, you shouldn't say."

"Y-you thought...she'd get taken away?"

"That's correct. That's been my top fear since, the day I was told I was the only parent she had. You do not understand..you just don't."

I saw Marionette open her mouth.

"Marionette Jane if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it."

"But daddy-"

"Do not say anything else. I'll send you to your room."

Marionette crossed her arms.

"I am sorry about her."

"She's literally a mini you."

I crouched down in front of Marionette.

"Do I have to, take away your tablet?"

"No!"

"Then be nice."

I noticed Primrose was still crying.

"I-I'm sorry baby. I-I should be making you feel better."

"No no. It's okay. Those hugs made me feel a little better."

I smiled.

"Good."

"Mommy?"

Oh god.

"Hm?"

"Can I go see your cousin?"

"Aw. That's so sweet of you. But, you won't be able to get in either sadly."

"But I can tell you how he is! I'm small enough! I can sneak in!"
