~Elijah~

I sat in my room at the compound. I wanted nothing to do with anything anymore. Not my brother's silly affairs, or my sister's love life. I didn't even care about the city anymore.

I was slowly dessicating myself. I refused to eat, and the only time I fed was when Rebekah or Niklaus would forcefully shove blood down my throat.

Without Libby, life was meaningless. I didn't even have Holly to help me out. Life without her wasn't like this, and they were so different, yet so alike.

Rebekah suddenly burst into my room. "Niklaus has gone missing!"

"I don't care, sister." I replied. My voice sounded hollow.

"No, Elijah, this is serious!" She tried to persuade me.

"I'm sure it's just another one of your ridiculous plans to get me to come out of my room." I said with a dissmissve wave of my hand. "I'm sure I'll leave my room just to see Niklaus feeding off of some poor human girl."

Rebekah glared at me, blue eyes intense. "I'll find him myself." Then, she stormed off.

I sighed, leaning back with a glass of whiskey in my hand. I gulped down the amber liquid, loving how it burned as it went down my throat.

~Niklaus~

I stole away into the night to Libby's grave several states away. I found it with ease, as I stole away here every now and then.

I had only hurt her because I knew she and my brother would fall in love. I wanted her to myself. Sadly, I would never get the chance to take her for my own.

I placed a single blue rose down by her grave. That was her favorite color after all.

As I turned to go, I swear I saw the shining silhouette of Libby, her blue hair billowing in the wind. I blinked and it was gone.

That's when I heard it. In my head, a sweet voice spoke to me.

Klaus..

"Libby?" I questioned. I looked around for the girl, spotting her. She looked like a ghost or spirit.

I can't talk... She looked so sad. She sent me a mind picture of the Other Side for a second before collapsing. Using my speed, I caught her in my arms.

I lifted her up. She was light weight. I loved the feeling of her body in my arms. I carried her with my vampire speed back to New Orleans.

I don't know how this was possible or why was going on. I was going to share this little miracle with Elijah for now. Once I knew what had happened, I would take her as my queen.
