(Lucy's POV)
At the end of the night, we head back home. If I look out the window too much, Peter yells at me to look down. I jumped a couple times, but I did as I was told.
"Get out of the car," Peter snaps. What had I done to piss him off on the ride back? I frown trying to figure out what I did.
I get out and I'm shoved into the house. If this is how these things go, I'm really not going to be looking forward to seeing the city, whatever city that may be.
I'm instructed to go upstairs and go to sleep. With a frown on my face, I go upstairs and shower. The whole time, I'm wondering what I had done to make Peter mad. I really don't need the shit beat out of me for something I did.
I go to sleep still wondering what I did wrong.
(General Hotchner's POV)
Two days, Lucy has been missing for two days. How has this happened to her again? I can't believe it, Luke's dead. It's not him, so who's after her? I haven't seen Jason in a while so it seems odd that he's not here.
It makes me wonder if he's even aware that she's missing.
"When was the last time you saw your granddaughter?" I ask Lucy's grandparents. Her grandmother is hysterical.
"I, she was upset because of Jason or something, I don't know, but she went for a walk and never came back. I know that by law I had to wait to report her missing so at first I thought she just went off on her own." She breaks down into tears again and I sigh.
I've got enough for now.
I get back in my cruiser and head back towards the station. My coworkers are currently looking to see if they can find where Lucy was taking. Her grandmother said she had a few things on her, so the kidnapper may have dumped her things.
I go into my office and look at the pictures of some of my suspects. The only thing I've got is some of the people Lucy has associated with for the past few weeks.
I decide to go speak to Jason.
When I arrive to where he is residing, I knock loudly on the door. Feet shuffle on the other side and the door swings open.
"Hotchner?" Jason says, cocking his head to the side.
"It's General Hotchner, kid," I snap. Something about Jason rubs me the wrong way.
He throws his hands up and welcomes me in. I step inside and look around. The smell of alcohol invades my nostrils and I frown.
"Jason are you aware that your girlfriend has been missing for two days?" I ask him, continuing to look at his disastrous home.
"We're not dating," He snaps. Is he completely oblivious to the fact that I just told him she was missing in the first place?
