Karate can be divided into mainly 4 styles
Shito-riyo
Shoto-kan
Gojo-riyo
Wardo-riyo
And as you all know there are belts to show seniority in Karate and each style has a different orientation like :
White
Yellow
Orange
Blue
Red
Green I
Green II
Brown I
Brown II
Black I (Sensei)
Black II (Sensei)
Black III (Sensei)
Black IV (Sensei)
Black V (Shihan)
Black VI (Shihan)
Black VII (Shihan)
Black VIII (Shihan)
Black IX (Dai Sensei)
Black X (Dai Sensei)
This is shito-riyo's belt orientation other styles have different orientation but two things are common is all styles have 10 dan (levels) of black belt and all start with white
Karate competitions is mainly made of 2 events Kata and Kumite
Kumite - fighting
Kata - think of it like dance off where 2 people dance together and the more attractive one wins
This is important because Izuku, Takagi, Kendo, and some of future characters are related to this stuff
