"So, an oracle is like a fortune teller?" I asked after all the classes ended.

"Oh yeah, I am definitely going to call you that from now on." Percy grinned and looked at Rachel who rolled her eyes.

"Let me see you try it, knock out water bender." Rachel challenged him. "And no Rory, I am not a fortune teller. I can tell prophecies, which are awfully vague and has too much poetry in them. And I don't need a crystal ball."

"That's cool." I admitted. "So, like prophecies from oracles are the only way to know the future then."

"Well, there are always demigod dreams." Annabeth said.

"Demigod dreams?" I asked.

"Yeah, being half god, we get dreams that can warn us about what's happening." Annabeth told me.

"And when you a big three kid, they're absolutely terrible." Percy groaned.

"I am pretty sure Apollo kids also have it bad." Annabeth added. "Their father is the god of prophecies, so they are almost as bad."

"Wait, but according to the interpretation of dreams by Sigmund Fred-" I stopped myself. "Does science even work in demigod world? How do you even prove biological and psychological theories useless in these things?"

"Well, I am sure that these things are correct in normal sense. I am not really much knowledgeable about psychology; I am more into architecture." Annabeth explained. "But us demigods, we're just built different."

Suddenly I remembered the dream I had last night.

"So, if I had a dream last night, there's a possibility that it might be true?" I asked them.

"You had a dream last night?" Annabeth asked and I nodded.

Even remembering sent me shivers, but I explained it anyways. I explained every detail, how the cave looked, the man with golden energy beams that were being stolen. Every single thing.

Everyone's faces turned white upon hearing that.

"What could that even mean?" Percy asked.

"I don't know." Annabeth admitted. "But I doubt it's anything good."

That I can't deny. I get the feeling that something was wrong about that dream. A bad instinct, you know.

We walked off as we entered the campfire area. We sang the songs and burnt some food by throwing them in the fire and eventually we were about to leave when there was a bright flash in between.

Where once stood nothing but the empty benches now stood a young girl of around 15-16 years old. She's certainly the most beautiful yet simplistic woman I have ever met. Her dark midnight hair were tied in a ponytail and glowing smooth skin. She was wearing black leggings and a silver tunic. I knew there was no way she was a regular teenager, but it was her eyes that made it seem like she was some powerful being. The colour of her eyes were pure silver like that of the moon in a photoshoped picture.

Suddenly everyone got up and bowed to her, so I decide to follow their example. I heard a few whispered that got too mixed up, but I got the name, "Artemis" among the mix.

"Raise demigods." She said and everyone got up.

"Artemis." Mr. D commented as he looked towards her. "What got you here."

"I am sure you are aware that my brother has been missing, D." Artemis commented. "I would imagine you'd care more for you half-brother than that."

"Ah, so you are here because our dear old dad's greatest trackers couldn't seem to find Apollo?" Mr. D asked, amused.

"You know as well as I do that us gods have restrictions, D." Artemis sighed with annoyance.

"What do you mean Apollo could be found?" asked Meg from earlier in a rather rude tone. "Is that idiot in some danger?"

Artemis narrowed her eyes at the short girl and said, "Mind your tone, Margret McCaffery. Not all gods are lenient as my brother and I. Now as you must have heard and probably noticed, my brother Apollo has been missing ever since his fight with the Python. Ares, Athena and I have been looking everywhere for him, but we can't go everywhere. We looked over the first child of my brother that has entered the camp after his disappearance to see if he's conscious or powerful enough to claim his children when. And we have discovered that he isn't. So, we can't send him a signal or vice versa to find him. I am afraid we believe only a demigod can find him. So, I am here to assign a quest to you demigods to find him."

A lot of things went into my head as she finished. So according to her, the gods have been keeping an eye on the child of Apollo who had entered after his disappearance to see if there is any power he can use to claim him or her, which he apparently couldn't. And I am the only unclaimed demigod here, so that would confirm that my father is indeed Apollo.

"But my lady," Annabeth stepped up. "We can't go on a quest without a prophecy."

Artemis looked like she had already been very angry and frustrated but was trying to remain calm and not kill someone, and I can imagine she was extremely worried for her brother at the moment. So, Annabeth's comment didn't look like it sat well with her, and I don't know what the goddess would have done had she spoken but then green smoke came out of Rachel's mouth as she walked towards me in a way she usually does. Her eyes turned a bright green as she spoke out some sentences that didn't really made sense to me, but everyone seemed to be listening so intently, I assumed it must have been important gibberish.

"Once the sun goes to sleep,

the end is near.

Seven to leave,

shall all enter darkness,

to wake the dying God or to lose him forever."

Annabeth wrote it all down in her notebook and Percy muttered under his breath, "Well there is the prophecy."

Artemis looked at me and said, "You are the unclaimed demigod child of my brother, Aurora Rivera. It would seem the quest has to have you."

Wait what? Me? I can't even make mac and cheese without adult supervision, and I am supposed to go on a quest?

"But she's just arrived yesterday!" Annabeth exclaimed. "She's not experienced enough to lead a quest."

I silently agreed wholeheartedly with her. Like yeah, I know my dad is in danger and I should be like "Yeah I can do this, I'll save him!" and yada yada. But I am like the least capable person here. Even Harley is more experienced than me and he's like eight. So, I really don't think that weight of the world should be placed in my hands of all people.

"I lead a quest without any experience." Percy commented. "And I was 12. That's 2 years younger."

Geez dude, I though you liked me.

Annabeth glared at her boyfriend who decided to shut up.

"I never said she has to lead." Artemis told her as calm as possible. "I shall now leave and assist Athena regarding the prophecy. Best of luck, demigods."

After that she disappeared in thin air.

"Well at least now we know why I didn't get claimed." I commented.

And then all hell broke loose.
