The moment Aaron's words came out, there were plenty of curses all around us.

"Urgh, what is the mist showing now?" demanded a very annoyed Thalia.

"Apparently the restaurant we were in ended up catching fire. So far they're blaming the empousa for that, but they are also questioning who we are." Aaron replied. "Especially because they noticed a certain famous daughter of Apollo that has already been on news for being missing. They are speculating that we are were kidnapped."

"Its not my fault mum was a brilliant doctor and uncle Kayden is an asshole." I defended myself.

"At least we're not being called criminals so far." Thalia sighed.

"This is Percy's first quest all over again." Will groaned and stood up annoyed, which made me lose my balance since I was resting on his shoulder. His shoulder was probably stiff now, but a warning would have been nice. I almost fall down on Nico's feet.

I glared at my brother, "I could use a warning next time."

He shrugged like he couldn't care less.

"We'll have to get out of here with a disguise." Reyna said, straight to the point.

Meg looked at the huntress, "And how are supposed to get one?"

Aaron nervously raised his hand, "I might have a gift from one of my siblings?"

We all looked at him expectantly.

"And what might it be?" Nico asked him with raised brows.

"Uh, Lacy gave me this." The son of Aphrodite took out a small pouch. "I can get anything we might need if its beauty related. Makeup, contact lenses, wigs. I guess she thought we might need it."

"Why do you get all the gifts?" I asked him, still tired and sick and kind of annoyed.

He shrugged, "Everyone likes me I guess."

"One of those gifts is kind of cursed, so I wouldn't be so sure about that." Replied Thalia cheekily, which had Aaron pouting.

Reyna then realised something, "Wait, did Piper had something like that on the quest of seven."

Nico shook his head, "I don't think so. I mean, I wasn't there for much time either, but I would have noticed if there was a small bag that was spurting out wigs and lipsticks."

"She must have thought we'd be in need of disguises." He shrugged. "Don't know why, but grab a wig everyone."

When we reached the Lille station, we were walking down with wigs and contact lenses and makeup to look not like ourselves. I can't say we did that good of a job, asides from Aaron who used his Aphrodite makeup magic on nothing but his guyliner, but we looked different enough that if people weren't straight off staring at they wouldn't notice there are the kids from the news here.

Which was fine really, most adults don't really care what a bunch of teens look like. Sure, some would give us suspicious looks from time to time as if we stole their baby and sold it to some voodoo witch, but that was just them being them. Other than that, they didn't really give a fuck about who or how they looked.

They walked to the waiting area where Aaron, being the stupid bastard he is, decided it was alright to run once he spotted a pretty girl.

Seriously, we have a gorgeous sick girl (me) and an injured gay boy (Nico) and he decides to just rush off like we'd ever be able to catch up to him. It was a good thing that the distance wasn't that far and he was still in view, or I'd have hit him with this stupid wig.

"Hey Amrita." He gave the pretty woman a hug.

The pretty woman, or Amrita, was taller than me and just an inch shorter than Nico. She has olive complexion and long waist length brown hair. Her eyes were dark brown. She was wearing a long floral dress and I recognised her accent from the time mum and I had went to Mumbai in India when there had been an urgent case their and she was specially asked to go there.

I had enjoyed my time there, going on small shopping trips while my mum was busy saving someone's life.

The woman had a small smile on her face, "You kid, are going to give me grey hairs before I am forty. Not as if your sister is any less work."

Aaron shrugged, "As least I wasn't intentionally trying to set the restaurant on fire."

"You'd light the entire country on fire if you were trying that." The pretty woman replied rolling her eyes.

We looked at the interaction when Aaron finally realised we also existed, "Oh right, Amrita, this is Thalia, Reyna, Nico, Will, Rory and Meg. Guys, this is my not evil stepmom, Amrita."

Some of us said hi while others waved at her. She gave us all a polite smile.

"Come on, lets get going before someone notices I am carry "kidnapped" children with me." She replied with a smile and we all got into her white car. I don't really know much about cars, but I think it's a Volkswagen Golf, if my brother's assumption is correct.

The drive to her house was a short fifteen minute ride, and it might have been shorter if we didn't almost run into someone.

At the moment, we were traveling through a less travelled road. Apparently it lead to the rich people houses so not many people had reason to travel in it.

I get it, my home was once on a street like that.

It's so funny how quickly things changes. Last month I was sitting at the piano with my mum, messing around and playing it terribly with her while shouting out the lyrics to our favourite songs and here I am today, never being able to go back to that house ever again.

Kayden has probably sold it by now to someone that was willing to sell it. And even if he hasn't, then what once used to my home is probably being constructed into a goddamn mall or something, so he could earn at least some money.

Anyways, I am getting distracted. Back from the memory lane, we were driving through an empty street when Amrita had to make a very sharp break.

We all almost jumped out of our seats when the sound of something crashing the car came.

"What the-" Aaron cursed from the shotgun seat. Normally, I wouldn't suggest cursing in front of an adult, at least in a language they understood, but I doubt Amrita even heard him while hurrying out.

We all got out of the car, only to find a guy lying on the floor. He was wearing a Led Zeppelin tee shirt and jeans. I couldn't see his face since his brown hair covered his face.

"I am fine. I am fine." He replied, and I noticed that he was bleeding.

But the blood wasn't red. It was gold.

Maybe it is the sickness making me see things, but I am pretty sure that rest of my demigod people were seeing the same thing as me.

Then the guy looked up at us and smiled. The gold blooded dude fucking smiled.

And not only that, I knew who he was. He was the guy from my dreams.

Well, not in a I-am-in-love-with-him kind of guy from my dreams. More like someone I literally saw in my dreams.

"Hello children." He greeted us with a blinding smile.

"Dad?" exclaimed Will.
