I knew that Aaron's step mom's boyfriend is rich. He had told me that much.

I just didn't expect him to this rich.

The moment we reached the gates of his mom's boyfriend's mansion, we all hurried out. It was a short ride, but there were too many people in the car, my legs were still.

The mansion was huge, and I don't really know much about architecture to know how to describe the place, but I'll try my best. It was a modern mansion; you know the ones with a nice lawn and a swimming pool in the backyard. It had white walls and large glass windows. The garden was nice, with all type of pretty flowers to distract Meg with. Dad would pull her back so that she doesn't go on and give a speech about which flower is which.

"If she starts here, I am shadow travelling to Japan. Or maybe Indonesia." Nico told Will. "Its not as if I have to listen to Demeter every time she visits the underworld during winter isn't enough."

Will snorted but dad seemed to agree, "Oh yeah, Demeter's a bit too crazy about cereals these days. Honestly, I think the best part of being mortal is not listening to her rant every time I am eating something."

"As if you aren't the same with your haikus." Retorted Meg. "Imagine how terrible it was for me to listen to his terrible poetry during the entire quest."

She literally shrugged. Dad pouted at her.

"Isn't he the god of poetry?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah, but lately dad's been in a phase." Will replied. "Not a good one."

"I am hurt." Apollo announced. "My own son is against me. I shall display my feeling through a haiku."

"You do that and I am going to ask dad to use your favourite maracas as a chew toy for Cerberus." Nico threatened him.

Apollo gave the son of Hades a hurtful look, although I could tell they were both joking around.

"Is he actually bad at poetry?" Aaron asked Will. I don't think that dad was supposed to hear the question, but he did.

"Nah, don't tell anyone. Especially Arty, but I only say bad poetry to annoy people." Replied Apollo, giving the two hunters a look.

They both gasped at that. Thalia looked at him incredulously, "All this time we had to hear you say all that terrible poetry and it was actually intentionally bad?"

"Of course, me being bad at poetry would be like saying Hermes hates stealing or Athena being dumb." Replied Apollo casually while the rest just looked at him as if he had just started the biggest scandal of the history. "I just got tired of praises and decided to get a different reaction."

I had no idea why everyone was looking at him like that. He must have said really bad poetry.

"I am going to tell lady Artemis." Thalia commented.

"Are you really going to betray your best male friend like that?" dad asked.

"That would be Percy, regrettably." She replied shrugging.

"Best male half-brother?" he continued.

"Hm, I don't know. I prefer Hephaestus, I think. He doesn't annoy lady Artemis and the hunters with awful poetry." Thalia commented cheekily. "Besides, you didn't have to justify a half brother being a male. That's an obvious thing."

"Who knows, maybe a guy wants to a sister instead of a brother. Its their choice." Apollo shrugged.

We entered the mansion after that conversion, and immediately we were met with many portraits of men and woman. Probably family.

"Huh, you are here I see." A voice spoke and I noticed a twelve year standing there. She was really pretty, kind of like a mix between Aaron and Amrita. Her eyes and facial were greyish blue like Aaron's, and her skin was lighter than Amrita but darker than Aaron. Her hair were cut to reach her shoulder with bangs falling on her face, covering her eyes. She was a little taller than Meg, although I suppose the bar is low if I am comparing her height to Meg's.

"Maya, behave. Your brother and his friends have had a long journey." Amrita scolded her. "I am going to go out and get some groceries now. Behave."

"Yes, hi Maya. Nice to see you too." Aaron rolled his eyes. "Guys, this is my little half-sister, Maya. Maya, these are my friends, please don't annoy them too much."

"I hope they're not as boring as you." She told him while eying us.

"I lived centuries and no one has ever accused me of being boring." Dad complaint to us. "Well, asides from Hermes. And that was after he stole my cattle, so I had all rights to act boring then."

The poor twelve year old blinked in confusion.

"Uh dad- father- uh- whatever I should call you?" I literally had an existential crisis while talking. "I think you should go on a slower pace; you are going to break the mortals."

"You can call me whatever you want dear." He gave me a blinding smile. "And you right, of course."

"Hold it- he's your dad?" the little girl asked me confused.

Will and I shrugged, "Yeah, you'll get used to it."

"I am still getting used to it." I muttered.

"I am Apollo, god of sun and poetry and music and other things." Dad told her with a kind smile then sighed. "I should have just picked one hobby. My title's too big."

"Also, yes. Most of us are cooler than your brother." I replied, smirking at her brother who glared at me. "It's not a hard job."

"It's easy being cooler than any boy." Thalia replied.

Aaron rolled his eyes at us, "Where's Jamie?"

"Play date with his new friend." She replied.

He sighed, "How sad, now I have to spend time with my less favourite sibling."

Maya stuck her tongue out at him. They're an adorable pair of siblings.

"Uh, as nice as it is to meet you guys, I need to check dad and see if there's anything to make him feel healthier." Will interrupted their sibling moment.

"I don't know son; I am afraid my condition is just going to get worse." Dad gave him a small smile. "You don't have to give it a try. It will be futile."

"I don't really care. I am going to try anyways." Will replied. "If there's anything I can do, I am doing it. Rory agrees with me, right sis?"

I didn't really knew my dad as well as Will did, but I couldn't help agree. I was raised by a doctor and my father is the god of healing, it just isn't in me to not want to help someone.

Apollo smiled at us, "If it makes you happy, then do whatever you want kids."
