The next few hours went by with us seeing Aaron throwing the pink coloured heart mirror anywhere he could.
"I hate how this thing just won't break." He glared at the pink mirror and I don't think I've seen anyone look at a mirror (that was reflecting their own face) with so much hatred.
"Of course it wont break." Replied Reyna. "If Aphrodite wants you to use it, I doubt she'd make it that easy to destroy it."
"I was actually hoping that's everyone would just forget about it." Aaron muttered. "Maybe I should gift it to Maya."
"Who?" we all asked.
"Oh right. She's my half-sister. From father's side. You all will probably meet her when we go to my stepmom's home." He shrugged. "She acts more like a child of Aphrodite than me."
Thalia did not look happy about that.
"Oh common now, they're not as bad." Will defended them. "They're just a little bit-"
"Self-obsessed?"
"Way too flirty?"
"Dramatic?"
"I was going to say free spirited." Will replied glaring at everyone that has answered. "Honestly Aaron, they're your siblings."
"Next thing you going to tell me is to be nice to my half brother who in the fields of punishment." Nico rolled his eyes.
"There's a difference between Hitler and some fashion obsessed freak." Will argued.
"They are scarier." Nico replied. "All that pinkness and the glitter."
Nico shuddered at his own words, which had Thalia and Reyna laughing and the rest of us joined them.
"You are so dramatic." Will said with a fond look.
"Clearly you have never met Zeus." Replied Nico, blushing from the looks his boyfriend was giving him. "Now stop staring at me like that sunshine."
Will grinned at him. They're both so adorable.
Just then Nico's zombie chauffeur, Jules Albert came to us, "We're nearing the Marseille Fos Port, Lord Nico."
Nico nodded, "Okay, that you Jules."
The zombie chauffeur went back to the control centre.
"So we're going to get off from this ship in Marseilles, take a train to Lille and from there we'll head to Aaron's stepmom's house." Nico told us. "Any issues with that?"
"Yeah, why can't we get to a port on Lille instead?" asked Meg.
Nico rolled his eyes, "Because that port is a river port. If you haven't noticed yet, we're on sea."
"How do you know so much about French ports?" asked Reyna raising her brow.
"I know a lot of things and have a lot of connections." Shrugged Nico. "Can't go around telling all of my secrets."
"I don't know if that's a good thing." Will commented. "They're not French Troglodyte right?"
Nico cracked a grin, "You're never going to find out sunshine."
"Wait, what is a Tro-whatever-whatever?" I asked.
"They were actually considered a myth." Thalia told us. "That is until little death boy made contacts with them somehow."
"They are basically cave-dwelling reptilian humanoids who enjoy eating lizards." Will added. "And they don't like sunlight, and are obsessed with hats."
Will did not look like he liked them that much.
"Oh yeah, you looked adorable in that lamp shade." Nico told him smirking.
Will pouted, "You're so mean to me."
"Wake me up when they're done with their flirting." Thalia told the rest of us.
"Just because you can't get someone to like you doesn't mean you have to be all jealous, Pikachu." Nico told her.
"I am a hunter, death boy." She replied feistily.
"Yeah, I know." Agreed Nico. "Since you couldn't get someone to like you."
And the next thing I knew, Thalia was chasing Nico while Reyna and Will shook their heads with a fond smile and said it at the same time, "They're idiots."
The two exchanged a smile at that.
"I am glad Nico is happier now." Reyna told Nico. "I remember how bad he was just a few months ago."
"Yeah, he's came a long way." Will agreed. "I just hope this quest won't bring him back to his former depressed I-don't-fit-in phase again."
"I hope not." Reyna agreed. "But we can never really tell now can we? Who know what the fates have planned."
