Oakley POV:

"Oakley! Get your ass up! We have stuff to do!" Johanna's voice rings through my door. I groan in frustration and open my eyes. Johanna opens my door and walks in clapping her hands.

"Why the fuck do I have to get up so early?" I ask her.

"Because, we need to plan for your interview." she crosses her arms before continuing. "So get your ass up!" she grabs the duvet cover and yanks it from covering my body.

"Hey! That's mean!" I whine.

"Don't care, get your ass up." she says pulling me out of bed. I flop onto my feet and give her a death stare. Then slowly make my way to the bathroom where I get changed and freshen up. I put on a pair of black tights and a black crop top. Then I pull my hair back into a braid down my back and emerge from the bathroom. I cross my arms and glare at Johanna.

"Happy?" I ask her angrily.

"Mmm, Almost. Just need you to tell me something." she smirks. "What's your plan for interviews? If I were you I would go with your natural characteristics."

"And what are those?" I exclaim.

"Well, you're naturally curious and flirtatious. So I would go with that." She nods in concentration.

"I'm going to have to flirt with a 50 year old!" I groan.

"Not necessarily, just everyone." Johanna sighs.

"Fine." I sigh.

"So, what's the game plan for the actual games?" She asks.

"I'm in with the careers. Did you not know that?" I ask her.

"No, I didn't but that's good. That's a great idea."

"Great."

"Did Hudson get in?"

"No. Definitely not, considering his score." I chuckle slightly.

"Ya... Pliny was not happy about that." She laughs. I give her a wide smile and we make our way out of my room and into the dining room where Hudson and Pliny are already eating. Pliny is gorging on what looks to be an Omelette. I grab a plate and sit down next to Hudson. He smiles at me and I give him a half hearted smile back. We eat in silence until Johanna speaks up.

"So, Annabeth is going to take Oakley to teach her some "lady stuff" and Pliny, you're going to take Hudson and teach him some arena and interview tactics. Clear?"

"Yes but, what about you?" Pliny asks. Johanna gives him a cold glare which shuts him up. I finish my breakfast and follow Annabeth to my room. She has me try on a pair of high heels.

"So, Oakley, do you know how to walk in heels?" Annabeth asks me. I shrug.

"Kind of," I say.

"Ok then, show me." Annabeth says, taking a seat on my bed. I pace back and forth in my room, never stumbling. Annabeth tells me orders and after two whole hours of learning how to walk again, my feet are aching and I have multiple blisters.

"Well! I think we should finish there!" Annabeth grins.

"Please do." I mutter. I change out of the shoes and follow her back into the common room.

"You now have some time to rest. Alliby will come and get you later."

"Alright." I respond. I sit down on the couch in the common room. Annabeth leaves and I'm all alone. I turn on the T.V and watch some Capitol TV interviews with Caesar Flickerman, the tribute interviewer. He seems like a genuine guy. After what feels like five minutes of TV watching, Alliby comes into the room, I give him a quick hug and he takes me to the remake rooms. He tells me to undress and get into the bath that is already filled with hot water. I do so and the water is so nice and warm. I relax in the warm water as Alliby scrubs different soaps in my hair. He massages my head with conditioner before rinsing it out. He drains the tub and I dry myself off with a towel. He hands me a robe and I wrap myself up in it. He leads me to a big white and elaborate vanity where I sit down and make myself comfortable. Alliby starts with drying my hair with a small fan and then presses it with a flattening Iron. He then starts sectioning my hair. He looks up at me through the mirror and says.

"I forgot something. I'll be right back, ok?" I nod and he scurries out of the room. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I let my head fall into my hands. My head really hurts. I have no clue why though. I hear the door click open and lift my head. Alliby walks in holding a small bag.

"What's in there?" I ask.

"Something for your hair." He winks. I smile slightly and he sets the stuff down and starts curling my hair. He takes a front chunk of my hair and twists it around my head. He pins it there and then curls the rest of my hair. When he's finished my hair is all wavy and twisted, He then digs into the bag and pulls out dried fern leaves and baby's breath.

"Alliby. Those are gorgeous." I smile at him.

"Oh really? I was hoping you'd like them." he smiles. I reach back and hug him tightly.

"Thank you." I smile up to him.

"You're most certainly welcome." He reaches up to put the flowers in my hair. Once there placed, he grabs a bag labelled 'makeup' and starts to apply mass amounts of powder to my face. When he's done I feel like a powdered doughnut. He then continues to paint my nails a vibrant green with dark green french tips and scrubs creams into my hands. Once the nail polish is dry, Alliby goes to get my dress. I get up from the chair and stand in front of the mirror, looking at my hair. It's so pretty! He returns quickly with the dress. My jaw drops. It's a light green dress that flows all the way to the floor. It had a gold waistband and a v-neck. The dress is just layers and layers of power mesh fabric. Alliby helps me into the tight dress before heading off to get the shoes. He returns with a pair of brown high heel sandals. I slip them on then look at myself in the mirror. I think I look like a princess. Lastly he slips my necklace on.

"I love it!" I say.

"Me too!" He responds. I follow him out of the remake room and down a hall to the elevator. He says goodbye as I board the elevator then the doors shut and I'm alone. The ride down is short and over quickly. When the doors open I'm greeted by many of the other tributes. I notice that district 2 is missing as well as Lillian but Felix is here. He catches my eyes and walks over to me.

"Hey you." I smirk.

"Hey." He smirks back.

"I Like your suit." I say, looking down at his light salmon pink suit.

"I hate it." He sighs with a slight chuckle.

"Honestly. Same." I laugh.

"But, my, my, aren't you just smoking in your dress." He smiles.

"Really, you think so." I respond with a smirk and twirl around myself. He lets out a low whistle in admiration. I blush and bring myself to a stand still. The world spins around me and I stumble a few times, then find myself falling forward. I fall and land into Felix's arms. I can't help myself, I laugh. I laugh as Felix helps me to stand up properly.

"You ok?" He asks.

"Ya." I sigh, finally stopping laughing. My cheeks are probably bright red.

"You sure or do you need me to catch you again?"

"To be honest. No" I laugh. He laughs in response. And my eyes move away from him to Hudson walking up to me. He wears a light green suit that matches my dress. He wears a pair of black shoes and a creamy white tie and undershirt.

"Hi. You look nice." He smiles at me.

"Thanks." I say warrily.

"Ya. So.... What are you up to?" He responds.

"Umh. Just talking... Ya." I smile awkwardly. "With my fellow career." Hudson's face turns dull. His eyes look over to Felix who stands beside me with a smirk. He looks him up and down before nodding slightly.

"Take care of her for me. Will ya?" He asks.

"Oh of course! Careers must take care of one another." Felix gives me a look, winks and smiles at Hudson who now wears a scowl. Hudson stalks off and I turn to Felix, I grab my face in my hands and laugh. I take a step forward self-consciously and rest my head on his chest. Still giddy with laughter I look back up at him and recover myself.

"Mhm.. Sorry about that." I clear my throat.

"Totally cool. But if I may say. Your brother must really care about you." He smirks. "And I guess you could say. He's not the only one." He winks and spins on his heels walking off. I let out a small, confused chuckle and turn around.

"Tributes, please get in line in district order. Ladies first." A voice calls. I make my way into line so incredibly close to the person in front of me.
