Oakley POV:

I wake up closer to Felix than I remember. I don't remember anything except for my watch last night though I do remember a dream I had about Willow. It was her in the games instead of me and I had to watch her die. I don't ever want to watch her die. I also don't want her to have to watch me die. The others are already up and moving about. The sun is partly in the sky and the trees blow lazily in the wind.

"Get her!" Wade yells, I don't waste a second. I tug on Felix's arm and we go off sprinting after her. The girl is insanely fast and nimble on her feet making quick and sudden turns leaving Felix and I stumbling to keep our balance. The girl curves towards the river and runs in. We follow until the girl spins around and looks nervously at us. That's when I noticed the small dagger in her hands. Water is starting to seep into my boots and its fucking cold. I focus my attention to the girl, my axe tight in my grasp. The girl lunges at us and raises her knife. Felix raises his machete and swings it towards her. She dodges it and then chucks the knife towards us. Her aim is bad and I chuckle at it.

"Did you really think that would hit us?" The girl scowles then lunges at me. I swing my axe towards her but she grabs my legs and we tumble towards the rocky bank. My ankle hits something hard and a shot of pain bursts through my leg.

"Aghh!" I groan and shove the girl over so I'm on top of her. I bring my arm back to chop her chest with my axe before realising that it's missing. The girl cackles as I look around desperately for it. The girl swings her body weight and rolls on top of me. I grunt in pain as her leg hits my ankle. The girl presses her arm against my throat and I gasp for air desperately. Spots appear in the corner of my eyes and my throat is throbbing. The girl applies more pressure to my throat and I groan in pain. Just as I close my eyes preparing for the end. The girl shrieks and her body weight is lifted off of me.

"You can fucking rot in hell, bitch." I hear Felix's voice say, angirly. The girl whimpers and cries out in pain as Felix kills her. A cannon sounds and I open my eyes. The world spins and My flash bright colours. Felix drops the girl and rushes over to me. His eyes bright with concern.

"Shit, are you ok?" He asks. I tilt my head in response.

"Ehh." I smile slightly. My throat throbs aggressively and my ankle hurts like fuck.

"Can you walk?" Felix looks deep into my eyes.

"Not at the moment." I sigh as I try to rotate my ankle.

"Well then I'm going to have to carry you." Felix says. He hands me my axe and then gently lifts me off the ground. He carries me sideways as he carefully walks us over the river and back into the woods. My ankle is becoming less and less painful and so is my throat. His arms are strong and don't ever quiver under my weight, though I am quite light for a 17 year old.

"Do you think you can walk when we reach the others?" He asks lightly.

"Ya. I can manage." I responded.

"Ok." we walk into the clearing and see Athena and Wade standing.

"Ooo. Look at you getting a ride." Taunts Athena.

"Shut up." I roll my eyes as Felix gently puts me down. I land on my good foot and leave my bad foot popped. I watch Athena's eyes look down to my foot for a second before coming back up.

The cold night air blows through my coat. The trees blow aggressively in the wind and it leaves me in shivers. The fire we lit was blown out a while ago so I'm left with no heat, well, except for one heat source. Felix. He and I are cuddled close together by the trees. We pulled my sleeping bag apart and are using it for a blanket. It's the only way for us to keep warm. I stare into distant space as Felix gently moves his fingers through my hair.
