"Can somebody please explain to me what's going on, because I'm freaking out here. And I would like to know why." Allison said, looking at the three of us. Scott sighed as he leaned on a desk behind me and Stiles, his back facing us. I cringed as I walked over to him, putting my hand on his shoulder. He was anxiously biting his fingernails, probably trying to come up with a plausible lie.

"It's okay." I whispered. He shook his head as he gnawed on his finger. I knew he had so much built up anxiety about this moment. Finally having to explain to Allison what he was and having to tell her about everything. It didn't seem like he was getting out of this one.

"Scott?" Allison called as she raised her hands expectantly. I looked up at her, sending her a sideways smile as Scott continued to freak out.

"Somebody killed the janitor." Stiles distracted, causing the three of them to look at him in confusion.

"What?"

"Yeah, the janitor's dead."

Allison blinked rapidly, shaking her head as she grew frustrated, "What is he talking about? Is this a joke?"

"What - who killed him?" Jackson asked.

Lydia exhaled, "No, no, no, no. This was supposed to be over. The mountain lion killed -"

"Don't you get it? There wasn't a mountain lion." Jackson interrupted.

"Scott, we're gonna have to say something." I insisted as Allison looked back at us.

"Who was it? What does he want?" Allison urged, tears welling up in her eyes as her voice indicated anger. I knew she could tell that we were just stalling. It was so obvious. She knew that Scott was lying to her. This wasn't gonna end well no matter if we made it out alive. "Scott!"

My brother quickly turned around, his eyebrows furrowed as he was conflicted, "I - I don't know. I - I just - If - if we go out there, he's gonna kill us." He mustered up.

Lydia's eyebrows rose, "Us? He's gonna kill us?"

"Who? Who is it?" Allison repeated, frustration in her voice because she wasn't getting a direct answer. I swallowed thickly, looking over at Scott. I didn't have a name to give. I wasn't lying on someone else's name either. Would it be so bad if we just said we didn't know? I felt like that wasn't a good idea now because Scott had already called him a 'he', so that meant he must have known something.

I saw Scott lower his head for a second, indicating that he wasn't proud of what he was about to do. "It's Derek. It's Derek Hale."

I glanced at Stiles, my eyes widening for a second before I tried to maintain a poker face. Stiles mirrored me, covering his mouth with his hand.

"Derek killed the janitor?" Jackson asked, his brows stitched together. "Are you sure?"

"I saw him." Scott fed into his lie even more.

Lydia looked like she was trying to make sense of it all, "The mountain li -"

Scott shook his head, "No, Derek killed them."

"All of them?"

"Yeah, starting with his own sister. It's been Derek the whole time. He's in here with us. And if we don't get out now - He's going to kill us too." Scott warned.

I couldn't believe this. This had to be the worst thing that Scott had ever done. Just because Derek is dead doesn't mean we can frame him and paint him out to be some serial killer. This was so messed up.

"Call the cops." Jackson ordered.

"No." Stiles scoffed.

Jackson blinked rapidly as he looked at Stiles in annoyance, "What do you mean "No?""
