"Kai..." I pull at his shirt, "Stop. Leave him out of this." His eyes peer down at me, "They're going to come for you, one way or another." Peter spoke, "He is going to get her back." I look to Peter, his hands clenched into tight fists down his sides, "Don't worry. I've made sure your friends are nicely occupied." He said.

No...he didn't.

"Y-you didn't...did you?" I look up to him. He ignores eye contact with me, "Tell me you didn't!" I yell, watching him flinch, "No, no, no!" I fall to the floor, Peter coming up behind me, holding me in his arms.

"I had to!" He looks down at me, yelling in my face, "No, you didn't! You had a fucking choice!" Peter rubs my other arm soothingly, trying to calm me down, "It had to be done." He straightens his blazer.

"There is something I also have to do." My brows furrowed together, "Dean!" He shouted. He can't do this. "Peter, run!" I push him off of me, "Run!" I watch Dean emerge from the bushes, holding a bat in his hand.

"I'm not leaving without you," he holds my hand in his, "Please-" Dean hit him across the face, "Peter!" He stumbles back, "Stop! Leave him out of this!" I pull onto Kai's trousers.

His jaw clenched. The veins on his neck popped out, "Enough," I said through gritted teeth.

He looked down at me, evil lingering in his eyes. Kai held his hand up, "Stop." he ordered, "That's enough." Peter spat some blood out, I ran over to him, examining his face, "He'll be fine." Kai picked me up.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I pulled away from his grasp, "Peter? Peter?" I crouch down and turned his face to me, "Go," I whispered, "You have to leave, now."

"Not without you." I looked away, closing my eyes.

"This time. Yes, you are."

"What about-"

"Don't tell him." I placed a kiss on his forehead.

He slowly got up, wobbling to the side.

He looked at me, nodding his head and with one final glance at me...he started to run, "Do not. Go after him." I looked to Dean and then Kai. "Boss..." Dean walked over to Kai, whispering something in his ear, "I have a few things to attend to." He handed Dean his gun.

"Fix her up and take her back home, make sure she gets something to eat and the door will be locked." I scoffed.

Dean nodded his head and walked up to me. He peered down at me like an insect he is ready to kill. "Let's go." I stand up, still clutching at my wound, "You're lucky the bullet is still in," Said Dean, "Or it would be hell right now." He finished.

I didn't respond to his useless comments, not in the mood to involve myself in some friendly chatting with a criminal's sidekick.

"Get in," He opens the passenger side for me, "What a gentleman," I gave him a sarcastic smile, "What a bitch." he mutters under his breath, "Wow," I scoffed. I lay my head down on the seat, needing to stop the constant throbbing pain.

"Fuck," I twisted to the side, trying to get comfortable, "Maybe if you stop moving it won't hurt," Dean crouches down to the floor by my feet, "Can you sit up?" I peer my head up at him, seeing the first aid kit in his hand.

"Didn't you say I mustn't move?" he chuckles softly, "You definitely are like your father," he came inside the car, picked my legs up and placed them on his lap, "Just face upwards and pull your sleeve up." I raised a brow, "Yeah...just like your father." That made me smile...a little.
