HARRY
I groaned as the sun crept through the blinds and the smell of coffee filled my hotel suite. Thankful I didn't have a hangover I went to the bathroom to get rid of my morning wood. Washing my hands and face I make my way towards the kitchen. All of the fellas are there except Zayn who was still asleep in his room.
Liam is leaning against the counter as Lou and Niall tell him about the party last night. "You should've just came instead of staying home with grandma," I say sitting on the counter after grabbing a bottle of water.
" Shut up Styles, I heard you struck out," Liam grins.
" Struck out? I got laid twice last night."
" Yea but not by the girl you wanted, you know the girl with the curly hair," Lou says eating a danish.
" Oh her? Yea she was a lesbian or something," I say thinking back to her freckles.
Layla and some random chick did a good job of helping me forget about her, but now that I'm not currently getting laid I remember how annoying she was."Yea it's either she's a lesbian or you're losing your touch," Niall joked.
" Go to hell," I say as Zayn enters the kitchen with hickeys on his neck.
" What's wrong Styles? Not use to someone rejecting you?" he asks still wiping the sleep out of his eye.
" Whatever. So what's the plan for tonight?" I ask changing the subject. Our next show isn't for another few days and it's our last one for awhile. Thank goodness.
" Niall's hanging out with the blonde from last night, Liam's sniffing around Sophia's skirt as usual, and Zayn and I are going to catch the game at a sports bar," Lou says working on his orange juice. I'd most likely end up going with them to the bar later.
Telling them to wake me up in a few hours I head back to my suite.
CORIE
I watch in silence as April digs through the mountain of clothes in her closet. She has a date with Niall tonight and I'm excited for her. After watching a few episodes of Powerpuff Girls (something we did when we were sad), I push the events that led me to despise Harry Styles to the back of my mind.
Unfortunately, I found myself still staring at his pictures on April's wall every few minutes. How can someone with such beautiful dimples be so evil?
" What about this one?" she asks holding up a simple blue fitted dress that reached her knees.
"I actually like that one a lot. Do you know where you guys are going yet?" I ask turning my attention back to her.
" Out to dinner I believe, what are you going to do while I'm gone?"
" I'm going to catch up on Game of Thrones and then meet some of the squad down at Parx," I said thankful it was Saturday night and I didn't have to be home until tomorrow.
Parx was a place teens hung out and you were always bound to see someone you knew.
" Cool I'll just meet you there on the way back," April says beginning to get dress.
After I watched the same episode twice I threw on a grey pullover hoodie, black jeans and my grey converse and headed to Parx.
It was only about a 20 minute walk from April's house and it was a nice night out.
Without my consent my thoughts wandered back to last night and a wave of sadness washed over me. I hadn't even realized I got to Parx until my hand was on the door.
The smell of food and coffee filled the air and I spotted the squad, my squad, on our regular couch with a few football players.
Most people in my school said I don't dress like a cheerleader and I don't know what that means. Is there some unspoken rule that says we have to look a certain way. I became captain my junior year and I loved it. Feeding off positive energy made me avoid the darkness at home.
" There she is, hey Corie!" Margo, a member of the squad waved as I approached. She sat next to Mike, who was deep into a conversation about football with Tommy. So of course Danielle was there.
" Hey popular kids," I joke walking over and sitting next to Margo.
" So how was the concert? Better yet, what's going on with your sister?" Margo asks in reference to April. "I texted her and she told me she was on a date with Niall...she on drugs?"
" No, they're really on a date. We were invited to a party after the concert and the two hit it off immediately, " I reply grabbing a slice of pizza.
" Girl put that down, competition is in one month!" Britney, another member squealed practically slapping the pizza out of my hand. I sighed and sat back, she was right. All of the girls were on a strict diet and I needed to be an example. Britney was the health freak of the group, but the girl had abs I'd kill for.
" How was the concert?" she asked passing me a celery stick.
I stubbornly bit into it and told her it was great with the best smile I could muster. I'm glad these girls didn't know me as well as April, or else they'd be able to tell I was lying.
" I heard they caused major traffic jams," Margo said texting on her iPhone. Everyone has a cute phone. Everyone except me.
"Those jerks did, I nearly missed the baseball game last night," Mike said jumping in our conversation. For once I didn't feel the need to defend them.
HARRY
"Lou always picks the worst teams," I laugh while guzzling a beer. We were at a sportsbar called Dyson's and Lou was losing money betting on the worst teams, as usual.
" One of these days I'll pick the worst and win big."
" He thinks this is the horse track," Zayn smiled collecting his money.
" Screw the both of you, anybody hear from Niall? Losers not picking up his phone."
" He's all wrapped up in Blondie, you seen her she's cute," I say hoping they don't bring her up.
" Yea I remember her, I also remember her friend," Zayn laughs downing his second beer.
" Yea she was gorgeous. Styles is still hurt over it," Lou joins in. Prick. "Oh Niall finally responded, the jerk's at some place called Parx, he wants us to swing by he says it's pretty cool."Glad to find a different topic I finish my drink and grab the keys. "Let's go."
The GPS said we were only 23 minutes away and that was a relief. All I had for the past hour and a half was beer and some nachos. I was starving. " Good thing this is a pizza shop, coffee shop slash bakery," I say as we approached the confusing place.
It was dim inside and I was thankful the fans inside were considerate to speak and keep it moving. Rarely happens. We signed a few autographs before I spotted Niall surrounded by girls and a few guys wearing red varsity jackets. As we made our way towards him I spotted Blondie. Sitting next to her was Corie. Just great.
She looked completely different from how she was dolled up last night, but still gorgeous. I didn't think she was a 'natural' beauty when I first met her. I've seen makeup work miracles, but that wasn't the case. This girl was a beauty. She sat there, her wild curly hair resting on her shoulders and chest. Wow.
