Climbing the stairwell to my apartment I thought of how much I hated Sunday nights. Temporarily disappearing on weekends kept me sane but returning always drove me even more crazy.
I was relieved to find my father passed out on the couch. Sneaking into my room I locked my door behind me. Tonight would be peaceful and for that I was thankful.
Walking over to my twin bed I laid back and relaxed. Even sleeping in a bed with April I had more room to move around. My wall of posters wasn't as impressive as April's, in fact most of them were ripped by my dad. Those were the days I didn't have a lock on my door.
I can't believe I'm hanging out with Harry Styles on Friday. The plan was to meet me at April's, he couldn't very well come here. He would probably think the worst of me. Not that I care what he thinks of me. Well not a lot.
HARRYIt was finally Friday and tonight was the night I'd have Corie. The fellas clowned me the entire week but that was going to end tonight. I was glad she lost her phone so I didn't have to talk to her all week.
"I guess you're going to miss the party tonight," Liam said as I put on my beanie. He had some nerve.
" Yea kinda like how you miss parties. All for a chick right?"
" I'm not missing out on anything."
"Yea yea, come talk to me in 10 years," I smirk heading out the door to Corie's house.
Los Angeles traffic is unlike any other and I end up being a few minutes late. Once I arrive I approach the house. After ringing the doorbell twice a pleasant older woman answer the door. Her mom?
" Oh hello, you must be Harry," she smiles.
" Yes ma'am I am," I respond. It's not hard impressing parents, although I've never had to.
" Come on in sweety, I'm Mrs. Douglas," she steps to the side as I enter the home.
" Nice to meet you, I'm Harry Styles."
"So I've heard, I recognize you from the pictures," she says standing at the bottom of the stairwell. "Corie, honey he is here! She'll be down in a jif. So where are you two kids headed?"
"A Italian restaurant called Sorrento's, it's downt--" I'm cut off by Corie who is standing at the top of the steps looking like a dream. How does she get sexier every time I see her?
She's wearing a blue dress that comes to her knee and grey high heels. Her toned legs flex as she makes her way down the stairs. I don't notice Blondie until she's standing next to me.
" Hi Harry," Corie smiles standing in front of me. Damn.
" Hey," we're stuck there for a split second before Blondie interrupts.
" Okay you two, go on get out of here," she jokes pushing Corie towards me. She smells like everything tropical.
Get it together. "After you, " I say stepping to the side and holding the front door open for her. Saying goodbye to her friend and mother we head towards my black convertible.
" This is a nice car Harry," she compliments admiring one of my automobiles.
" Thanks, I got it a few months back. I'm more into muscle cars though," I say holding her door open.
"Oh I love a clean 1967 Chevy Impala," she says catching me off guard.
Putting two hands on the door I lean towards her. "And what do you know about a '67 Impala?"
" Just that it's Dean Winchester ' s favorite car."
" Who?"
" He's a character on a tv show," she laughs showing that smile that knocked the wind out of me.
