*Nine*

I sat there completely still as i watched Emi interact with Kazi, my body relaxed when i saw the slight twitch of his lips.

I put up a shield around my thoughts and emotions so Emi wouldn't ask to many questions as i thought about what this meant, Emi was Kazi's soul mate, i wasn't sure what term angels used to describe their other half but the basic term was soul mate.

They say soul mates are paired together by the gods themselves, i knew that everyone in the world had one, it was just alot easier for supernaturals to find their mates then it was for humans, mostly because the human senses where weakened to an all time low, so they couldn't feel the bond or automatically know.

Some humans where lucky enough to find their mates, even some of us supernaturals were mated to humans, sadly in our world it was banned for any of us to mate with humans untill about forty years ago, but thats a story for another time.

I knew Kazi would wait until she was old enough to tell her about them being mates, at the same time i knew he would spoil her rotten and do whatever he could to make her happy.

She was in great hands but that still didn't stop my overprotective mode from kicking in, i honestly could never truly trust anyone but myself with Emi's protection no matter how selfish it seemed i wouldn't hesitate to beat Kazi's ass if need be.

I finally pulled myself out of my thoughts, Emi stood infront of Kazi her gaze shifting between me and the others.

Finally Kazi cleared his throat a small seemingly shy smile played on his lips as he looked over at me, "um i need a little bit of time to think, ill be back tonight when your friends arrive, please don't forget to ask if everyone wants to move in"

I nodded as he slowly stood up walking over to the stairs, he took one more look at Emi before he walked down the steps and out of sight.

I looked over watching as Emi pulled herself up into Kazi's chair and smiled at me "so what's going on?"

Sage stayed quite about what just happened and pulled up another chair next to me and Emi.

"Well first i wanna ask everyone if they would like to move in, im not to big on the idea of us being spread so far apart in a new place, even if we are heavily protected, then i have a suprise for both you and Sage" i said smiling at them.

Sage smiled back speaking happily "Oh thats a great idea Arden why haven't we thought of it sooner, all of us are really close already"

Emi's spoke right after her "it sounds cool having everyone here like a big family"

"We are family Emi, everyone here is very close to each other we may not be related by blood but that doesn't change anything" i said softly knowing she would understand.

She nodded at my words "oh hey sis, shouldn't we call everyone to ask them, it could take all day right?"

I shook my head when Sage laughed softly "no, actually we have this thing called mind link, we are able to talk to each other in our heads because i was able to connect everyone in our minds, normally mind links are only established in packs of shifters or supernaturals born with the ability like some witches and vampires ect... but we are able to block off our thoughts from everyone if we want, we usually only use it in emergencies or when i have something to announce to everyone at once"

Finally i finished explaining as best as i could while Emi just looked at me as if i had gone mad "why explain it to me when i already kinda know this stuff, me and Rory love the movies and books about this"

I shrugged slightly "i just wanna make sure you know"

"Well i do, no big deal"

"Ok fine anyway im gonna announce moving in" they both just nodded at me so i signed softly.

Opening my mind i made sure everyones links were open, i could feel their curiosity as to why i had opened the link so i decided to joke a bit just for fun "testing, testing is this thing working, dang Sage turn the volume up, maybe they cant hear me!" I could hear chuckles and giggling coming from almost everyone in the family.

"We can hear you Arden" Ozara replied causing me to smile even though they couldn't see me.

"i know im just playing, anyway everyone by now should know we are moving the forest" i paused waiting to see if any disappointment filtered through the link, none showed up so i continued "since we are going to be in a new place i wanted to know if anyone would like to move in just so we are closer being in a new place and a-" i got cut off by screams of excitement from more then a few people.

I heard Killian laughing through the link as he replied "we say yes Arden"

"So do we" Yuna replied

After getting alot of yes replys and only a few no i told everyone to come by and Sage would settle them in, i knew none of the sprites were gonna live in here they prefer nature just like the nymphs, i knew all of the kids where gonna move in and thats what made me the most relived.

"Oh Killian can you come back to the main house i need your help"

His reply came faster then i thought it would "Of course Arden im on my way"

I put my walls back up making sure my thoughts were blocked off as i looked at Emi and Sage.

"Ok Sage can you show Emi around and introduce her to everyone when they get here, me and Killian have to go do something"

She nodded "Come on Emi lets go!" Grabbing Emis hand she stood up pulling her along, Emi barley had enough time to wave at me befor she disappeared down the stairs.

I let out a soft sigh as i ran one hand through my red curls, all i could think about was how i was gonna tell three people ive known for years that i was a witch.

I knew Killian would be here any second so i stood up walking down the winding staircase, i opened the front door and stepped out, my eyes wondered around as the sprites flew by doing their best to help everyone that was gonna move in.

I smiled walking passed everyone as a few waved at me continuing to run around, finally i saw Killian walking up to me.

"What did you need Arden?"

I gave him a slightly guilty expression "well i need you to come with me to get my friends and bring them back"

He shrugged like it was no big deal "ok, i have the sun charm you gave me, so how do you wanna get there?"

I crossed my arms over my chest "Well i want you to run since I'll be doing the move myself i just wanna play it safe right now, and not use up power for a portal"

His eyes narrowed at my reply "Your like crazy powerful, the move would kill any ordinary witch who tried to do it by themselves, but your a pure Aslana descendant, a long line of Queens who ruled over everyone else, hell your our leader now just like your mother was, none of this will take its toll on you, so what is the real reason"

I huffed refusing the idea to tell him why "No there are some things i like to keep to myself, you know i dont care about my family's past, its the present and we have already established that me and Emi are probably the only ones left"

He let out a soft sigh "Ok fine i dont want to fight" he turned his back to me bending his knees slightly "hop on"

I circled my arms around his neck while wrapping my legs around his waist making sure to hold on tight i buried my face into the back of his shoulder blade as we took off.
