Fin and Sebastian sat at a restaurant that was near the beach. They didn't really feel like going home, so they both decided to stay out and explore.
"What do you want to look at in town?" Sebastian started.
"Maybe some flower shops for me to work at then buying some decor for the house."
Sebastian nodded his head and smiled at the fact that Fin still wanted to work even though Sebastian made enough to provide for both.
"Hi gentlemen! My name is Lisa and I will be your server. What can I get for you both today?"
Fin looked at Sebastian to see if he was ready as well, but Sebastian was still struggling to find what he wanted.
"Hi I will have water with no lemon or lime and he will have a diet coke." Fin answered for them both. Sebastian looked up from his menu and smiled at Fin in appreciation.
"Okay then. Do you need more time with the menu then?" Fin nodded his head and the waitress left. Both of the men continued on looking for something to satisfy their hunger before they continued to walk around again. Fin wasn't too picky so he went to the sandwiches side and found a double cheeseburger with onion rings. It looked yummy and Fin was satisfied with his choice. He looked back up again and saw Sebastian confused face of what to order, so Fin took the menu out of his hand and went to the seafood side and found a seafood dish that served garlic herb crusted salmon with two sides of choice. Fin gave back the menu and pointed to the dish.
"How do you know me so well?" Sebastian said in a loving way. Fin looked into Sebastian eyes and honestly questioned himself as well.
We didn't say anything after that and looked around the restaurant. Fin saw how the place was brightly lit up with a blue hue color. The floors were hardwood but a gray color, and the walls were a mix of beige, green, blue, and orange because the wall was painted of the beach that was nearby but with a sunset.
Fin looked back straight again and saw that Sebastian had been staring at him. Fin didn't want to look away, but it seems that Sebastian wanted to say something.
"So where did it go?" Sebastian asked.
"What?" Fin responded back to the question.
"Your laugh...remember on the beach with those annoying children." Fin looked at Sebastian for a second then turned his head, and by the fortunate God of Lisa, she came back with her preppy smile.
"Hello gentlemen! Ready to order?"
Fin told Lisa what they both wanted and left in a short minute. Sebastian was still looking at Fin waiting for his answer, but Fin didn't have one. Well he did, but to tell him where his smile went will probably lead to a fight and Fin has yet to see or experience Sebastian striking Fin in public. Only in the secured protection of their home.
"Fin. Answer. Now." Sebastian demanded in a low tone.
"I don't understand why you're so mad at me. I laughed and smiled today. What about it? I'm so sorry that I haven't in a few days, months, or even years, but we both know deep down when I truly stopped smiling and laughing genuinely. So stop with this." Fin said all in a whisper, but loud enough for Sebastian to hear.
Fin was afraid to look up. He knows he has done something that may lead him to a gurney in a hospital room. He hasn't even seen a park yet and is already about to be black and blue.
Fin started instantly shaking, scared for his life and what would happen next at the table, but that was when Sebastian grabbed Fin's hands and made Fin become startled and jump from the table then proceeding to almost knock the waitress over with their food and drinks.
Fin said a hurried apology and ran to the bathroom. He was too scared to do anything. He had no one here and felt like he was going to die.
But Sebastian came into the bathroom and knocked on the stall. Fin didn't answer, but Sebastian knew he was in the stall so he knocked again and said.
"Fin let me in please." with a soft voice.
But Fin has been tricked by his nice and soft voice before and really wasn't in the mood to be knocked around silly again in a bathroom, let alone a public bathroom.
"Fin, sweetheart, please let me see you and talk to you." Yet Fin still didn't open the door for him. He saw Sebastian feet leave from the stall and thought that he was finally going to leave until on the side of him he saw Sebastian jumping over in the stall, but Fin was too late to run away from him.
They both stood in the stall uncomfortably and didn't say anything.
"Fin.....I'm sorry..." Sebastian started off. He grabbed Fin's face and had it tilted towards him.
"I'm really sorry I didn't mean for our relationship to go about this way."
Fin has heard this apology over a million times.
"I just get so made at.....just so mad and I can't process it and when I finally break I take it out on you and that's not right."
Mad at me.....
"And I really want to change and change how our relationship goes after this."
Maybe you should have actually listened to the five previous therapists when they said you needed to fix yourself.
"What do you say? Let's go back in there and enjoy our meals and walk around the city. Please?"
Fin looked Sebastian in the eyes and nodded his head knowing full well that nothing was going to change at all.
Both men left the stall and went back to their table and enjoyed whatever was left of the evening. Sebastian paid, because Fin doesn't have a bank account or loose money on him, and they went walking through the city.
Sebastian had grabbed Fin's hand and caressed it while they were walking around. There were some tourist areas around town and Fin really didn't want to go in them since they seemed cringey.
But after a good thirty minutes of walking Fin turned his head and saw a beautiful florist shop. It was placed in between a deli and coffee shop and was small, but cute. Fin let go of Sebastian's hand and went to the little shop. He had opened the door and smelled the beautiful scents of flowers.
He looked around and a woman came up to him.
She was shorter than Fin standing at five foot and eight inches. To Fin her eyes were the color of the brightest ocean in the world. She had nice red wavy hair that goes to her back, and a nice smile to add on.
"Hi my name is Penny, what can I help you with sir?" Said the young worker.
"Oh hi ma'am could I speak to your owner or manager please?"
"Well that will be me both. I run this shop, how can I help you?"
"Hi Miss. Penny, I was wondering, are you hiring?"
Penny looked like she was about to say no until Fin caught on and gave an elevator speech to her about his experience and catering and knowing how to handle money.
Sooner than later Penny gave him a chance and said to be back tomorrow around eight o'clock in the morning to see what Fin can and can't do.
Fin nodded his head and left the store skipping and then running into Sebastian arms and giggling. When finally let down Fin told Sebastian everything that had just happened and Sebastian couldn't keep the smile off his face nor could Fin. They both decided since they were going to have a busy day tomorrow that they both needed to head to bed early and with this Fin now has a job, Sebastian is making his way through real estate in Washington State and everything was great.
Let's see what happens next then, should we?
