"Hey Penny I'm gonna be late to the shop and apartment." Fin said on the phone.
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Michael doesn't have any cheque books to write the cheque and no cash to give to me and the event has already started so I'm gonna stay and wait for it." Fin said, trying to make sure that Penny didn't get onto the plan Fin made.
"Well I know Michael, and he can just bring it in tomorrow. You can leave the event now."
Fin didn't know what to say to that, but tried to muster up some type of excuse.
"No it's okay I will just wait, plus it's not that long..."
"....."
"........"
"Fin....what's going on?" Penny asked.
"Nothing. Listen I gotta go Sebastian is calling me, bye."
Fin was lying and instead walked back into the building and went to the event and waited for it to end, but during the process Fin saw Michael being handsome with his adorable smile handing out the bouquets to the scholarship candidates that Fin couldn't stop staring at him.
Fin could breathe and not be scared that he simply stood wrong or dressed wrong and was just able to breathe. Soon time went by and Michael was leading Fin to the parking garage where his GMC truck was parked.
"Do you want a nice dinner and dancing or fancy?" Michael said, but Fin cut him off and responded.
"Fancy dinner and dancing." Michael stared and smiled before opening up the passenger door.
They both rode to Chelan to go to an Italian restaurant called Sorrento's Ristorante. Fin has never been to a restaurant this romantic. Usually they were a suit type of restaurant or reservation made only, but this was looking out into Chelan lake with a beautiful night. They sat down and Michael didn't give Fin the chance to open the menu before taking it away and smiling gently.
"I got this. I know fancy."
And with that Michael ordered Baked Feta & Mediterranean Olive Plate for appetizers with a Halibut Piccata and five Spice Duck. Fin knew that that was a lot of food, but Michael didn't care and made sure to order water for both parties.
"Wow....romantic." Fin responded.
"Nope, it's fancy. Romantic would be letting you choose your own meal, but fancy is allowing you to taste something you've never tasted in your life." Michael explained.
"Well I've definitely never heard of the first meal and never have tasted duck before." Fin explained and with that Michael's face grew even bigger.
"Ohh you're going to love this."
Both men in the end loved their meals. There was nothing but laughter and smiles coming from both men. Fin couldn't remember when he last felt this way, but he knew that it was amazing.
Michael and Fin both make it outside to Michael's truck and lean against it while still laughing.
Before Fin could understand what had happened Michael had kissed him. Michael didn't move back and instead waited for Fin to either move back himself or kiss back, and to my surprise Fin kissed back.
I mean like wow. I can't believe Fin would do this, but Michael was least surprised and just kissed Fin back. Michael pulled back and instead led Fin into his car and drove to Michael's place which was a condo complex and brought Fin to his room.
Michael had to press in a code in order for both of them to enter, but soon after they head up and walk into the living room Fin couldn't stop looking in such amazement. It wasn't luxury or its theme colors were white or black, Fin was looking at how comfy it was. There was a nice L-shaped couch colored blue; the entire walls were red brick to give it a more industrial look. The kitchen was just a few steps from the front door and has a large round table in the middle for eating and upstairs is the loft for just the bed and a desk with a chair.
