Chapter 4

The English class was done a few hours later so Aeri and Jimin separated their ways with Minjeong and Ning to their own period.

Minjeong and Ning seemed to enjoy having each other's presence because of the mostly similar interests they have. They walked in to the Geography class and Ning told the teacher about the new student, Minjeong. Soon, they took a seat on the table in the middle of the class. When the teacher was about to start, he got a call from the principal because he had to run to do some stuff, so he told the students to stay in the class and don't make noises. Students being students, they didn't care about that and found themselves walk around the school. Minjeong didn't want to get in trouble for her first day, so that she told Ning she wanted to stay in the class and talk more.

"So, Jimin?" Ning wiggled her eyebrows and smirked. "Oh come on, even though I sit behind you, I knew you kept stealing glances to Jimin before." Ning laughed. "I know she's attractive and stuff but just so you know she never had an experience for having a
relationship because, you know." She trailed off.

"Oh." She answered. At first she didn't believe Ning but then she knew what she meant.

"How did you know Jimin and Aeri?"

"Last Friday I saw Jimin playing the piano at the store downtown and then we talked and stuff. Then Aeri came to pick Jimin up. But at that time we didn't tell each other if I'm going to East High so when I met them this morning I was kinda shocked."

"Cool. That store is like a second home for Jimin. She has a huge interest in music and I always adore how she plays all of them, even our friends too."

"Wait, all of them?"

"Well, not "all" but piano, guitar, ukulele, and violin."

Minjeong's jaw dropped. What Ning said made Minjeong even more interested in Jimin.

"I know what you're thinking. Jimin's like that type of person who already got a gift from god, which is expertly playing musical instruments, and she also sings."

"Wow."

Minjeong was going to ask about Jimin and Ryujin, but she was quite hesitant.

Oh, fuck it.

"Hey, are Jimin and Ryujin like, sisters?"

"Jimin's her step sister." She answered, "Wait how did you know Ryujin?"

"We're childhood best friends. I was originally from Salt Lake but I moved to LA when I was in the 4th grade, so yeah." Minjeong trailed off, "You know Ryujin?"

"Yeah, she's literally the nicest girl in this school. Good looking girl, straight A student, captain of the football team. Every guy and girl wants to be her." Ning said and they both laughed.

"She never changes, does she?" Minjeong chuckled. She finally had the courage
to ask Ning, "So uh, if they're siblings, then why Ryujin not seem comfortable around Jimin?"

"Oh, that." Ning said nervously. "Well, let me just tell you the whole story, since you two get along well. So, nini was adopted when she was 12. At that time she was already
blind. Her two moms passed away because of an accident and that made her blind as well. Ryujin loved Jimin for a few months when Jimin was adopted, but then her attitude towards Jimin changed 360 degrees. Everyone never knew why, not even the parents and Jimin herself, but Aeri told me once she might know why, but she doesn't want to make
unconfirmed rumors, so yeah. Ryujin is really nice to everyone, but when it comes to Jimin, you know what's next."

Minjeong's heart was really crushed. Her mind was filled with questions. But what made her overthink was why Ryujin would hate a precious and fragile angel like Jimin?
