The next day, school was just the usual. It was pretty boring for most students, but not to Minjeong and Ryujin. Both of them had planned to hang out after six years of not seeing each other. Minjeong was thrilled to finally catch up with her. She wanted to know how she's been ever since Minjeong moved,
but deep down there's one thing she would like to know from her.

Ryujin's relationship with Jimin.

She knew Ryujin's the nicest and most humble girl ever, that's why she didn't
believe when she saw Ryujin's attitude towards Jimin . She thought maybe Ryujin
didn't like her because of her disability but she knew Ryujin's not that kind of person.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock from her front door. She opened it and saw the girl who was on her mind. Her and Ryujin did a tight hug and let her come inside. They walked over to the kitchen and met Kim Tiffany.

"Ah, Ryujin! How are you honey? You've grown up very well." Tiffany greeted her with a warm hug.

"Hi Aunt Tiffany, I'm very good, thank you." She laughed.

"You're staying for dinner, right? I'm making my famous lasagna tonight."

"Of course." She answered, "Where's Aunt Taeyeon?"

"Still working but I think she should be home soon, today's basically my ma's early hour to go home and it's her turn to make dinner." Minjeong told her.

"Alright, go and have fun you two, I'll call you when dinner's ready." Tiffany shooed them away.

When they were in Minjeong's room, Ryujin sat down on her bed while Minjeong sat
on the comfortable sofa on the corner of her room, strumming some chords with her guitar on her lap. Ryujin was stunned to hear the sound.

"Nice one, Jeong. Is that new?"

"Oh uh, that was mine and Jimin's work for our music class project."

She flinched when Minjeong mentioned Jimin. "Oh." She muttered, sounding
disappointed.

Minjeong raised her eyebrows at Ryujin but then she let it off. She really want to know their background story, but she knew Ryujin won't just tell her right away when basically not a single person knew why she's
being cold around Jimin.

Ryujin was the first one to break the silence and let the conversation going. They caught up with everything. Ryujin told her about football, her dream college, which she had applied Yale, Harvard, and Colombia. She also told Minjeong what she should know about the school. Minjeong did the same by
telling Ryujin her experience in LA, how many people try to befriend her but she knew those people just wanted some popularity because she was popular already because of her gorgeous face. Sure, she has friends there
but they're not as comfortable as Ryujin and her new friends group. Then, Ryujin asked her an interesting question, which she was also unsure to answer.

"Any girls catch your eyes at the moment?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

She tensed up at that question, she knew the answer but she was unsure if she wanted to tell her bestfriend that she may have a small crush on her step-sister who Ryujin hates, but she tried to play it cool.

"Nah, not really. I'm not in the mood." She chuckled.

Ryujin was surprised at her answer. "Must be nice to be chased by many girls back then. Don't think the girls and guys in our school didn't react the same way. News and gossip are fast enough to spread around at East High." She laughed at her.

"I don't really care about that. My goal is to keep a low profile but since my best friend is popular, I guess I cannot get away from that."

Bow it was her turn to ask Ryujin, even though she knew the answer. Maybe
this way she might spill a little about her step sister.
