Jimin's mornings was the usual. At 6 a.m., Nancy would wake her up and help her to get ready with her day from cleaning her bed, preparing her clothes, waiting for her to take a shower, did a little make-up, and she's set for the day.But weekends are a little bit different, especially the day after her date with
Minjeong. Lisa's finally back home from his business trip midnight so she didn't wear any make up because the Shins decided to stay at home and bond together. She was currently sitting on her bed with her legs crossed, her
palms buried her face. For any normal family, staying at home is a usual thing, but not to the Shins. With Lisa rarely being at home and Jennie sometimes were too busy with her business, the Shin's children were happy enough to stay at home with both of their parents.Speaking of Minjeong, Jimin still couldn't stop thinking about the kiss last night. She was scared that after the almost kiss on the lips, her friendship with Minjeong could be
ruined. She was frustrated enough because she never had an awkward moment like that with her friends. But considering she never saw them in the same way she sees Minjeong, it could be different. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her door, and soon enough the door was open."Can I come in?" A soft male voice filled the room.
Jimin smiled widely, it was like her thoughts about Minjeong suddenly fade away.
"Dad?"
"It's me, honey." He beamed.
Jimin tried to get off from her bed but it was too comfortable so she was struggling to get up and find her stick, Lisa realized what she tried to do so instead he approached to her and helped her get off from her bed. When she
finally stood up she ran to her dad's arms and hugged him tightly as Lisa tightly hugged her back. She let out a huge sigh, scenting Lisa's famous perfume, definitely missing that. She didn't realize that she let out a small sob so Lisa rubbed her back softly."I missed you." She said softly.
"Me too, honey." He pulled away and wiped his daughter's tears with his thumb, "Why are you crying? Did something bad happens?" He asked worriedly.
"No, nothing's wrong!" She quickly exclaimed, "It's just, this is probably the longest trip you've ever been to. Two months!"
Lisa laughed at her response and shook his head, "Oh god, come here honey." He chuckled and pulled his daughter into a tight hug, "I know it's too long and I hope I can give you something in return."
"What do you mean?" She mumbled with her face still buried on Lisa's chest.
"Well, I won't have another business trip for about three weeks. What do you say we have movie nights every weekend? Just you, me, your sister, and mom."
Still hugging her father, she nodded in response, "I'd love that. But I cannot
promise you I will join every movie nights. You know how awful it is when I have homework." She groaned while pulling away from the hug, Lisa just laughed at her response." I know, I won't force you to join me." He chuckled, "Oh and I invited the Kims this Wednesday for dinner. Your mom told me about them coming back and how you've been spending time with Minjeong."
She couldn't see her father's facial expression, but she can feel that her father let out a devilish smirk.
She blushed lightly when she heard the name "Minjeong".
"-Oh uh, y-yeah. That's great. I'm excited to see Aunt Tiffany and Aunt Taeyeon again.
They're really nice and they didn't annoy me by asking me about my eyes.""And what about Minjeong?"
"I went out with her last night." She suddenly regrets what she told her dad while widening her eyes, "I-I mean hang out, yes! Hang out." She said nervously.
