Chapter 12

*The Plan*

To keep an eye out for anyone suspicious and if you get a sense that someone is following you call Erin and Jay if Stella and Kelly feel like someone is following you or if Erin and Jay call Stella and Kelly. This will help let the guy know that we are onto him so hopefully he will go faster and mess up.

Kelly's POV

When Stella and I got back to our hotel we noticed that the hotel door was cracked open and that it was forced open. I tell Stella that we should not go in and that we should call intelligence. When intelligence arrives they use a small camera to see if there is anything that can hurt us inside. Once they looked through the hotel, they looked behind the door and found a shotgun rigged to go off when someone opens the door. Voight tells me, Stella, Erin, and Jay to start evacuating people off of the floor, to go get the shields, and to get something heavy to throw at the door. When we get back and everyone is outside we go back to where intelligence is. We all get behind a shield while Voight throws a heavy book at the door. The shotgun goes off but we don't know if anyone is inside so we go in carefully and try not to touch anything. Just in case the guy left behind any evidence. Once we finished clearing the hotel room we went back to where everyone else is. Then I see the tv turn on without anyone pressing the button. "Hey guys you might want to see this." I say while pointing at the tv "what is it Severide? " Voight asked. "Well the tv turned on by itself then this creepy guy with a mask on has been showing ever since" I say to Voight. Once everyone got in the room the video started playing. "Hello detectives and firefighters, nice to see you again. My friends Gregory Yates and William White have told me a lot about y'all." The masked man said then the screen went blank again. I look over at Stella and saw that she had a worried look on her face.

K) Hey what's wrong

S) well I know William White

K) How?

S) he killed one of my best friends and I saw the whole thing

K) Hey, baby don't cry, we are going to catch him. He said while giving her a kiss and a hug

S) I am guessing y'all know who Gregory Yates is

E) Yeah, he raped and murdered my friend Nadia. She said while hugging Jay

K) Hey we are going to find them

J) how about we all stay at mine and Erin's place. It might help to know that there are people to talk to.
