Nightmare, exhausted, continued getting rid of obstacles. She had found an ally way and got stuck in a tunnel she had fallen into.
Now, she was farther in. But she wasn't sure how far, she just hoped she was close.
The sound of rushing water made her freeze midway pushing a big rock. She screeched at the sight of water rushing in the tunnel. Seeing the water was leading to an ocean didn't help at all.
Her only escape route was through the endless, turning ocean.
Nightmare took a deep, calm, breath and dived up into the ocean. Her eyes were plastered shut.
She felt air, cold as ever.
Blinking, she saw countless stars, before she was swept away yet again.

Nightmare awoke with a start. She had managed to reach land.
But she was too sleepy and went to sleep in a den.
Now she had to find a way back home.
  She groaned inwardly.
Nightmare had a long, long journey ahead of her.
And, She began thinking. I'll probably encounter foxes or wolves, or dogs, or maybe Cumans.
But whatever I face, I don't face it alone anymore. Because he's back.
