Clemont P.O.V
I was shocked. How the heck could this have happened?! Team flare was supposed to be gone and they had been for the past year and a half.
Officer Jenny immediately got up and looked at us. "Im going to look into this. If they are planning what they did last time then we need to shut it down asap. I want you two to have your phones on you at all times and I will call and update you." She says rushing out.
"Wait! I thought Lysander was gone! And that scientist is in jail! Who could have started them up again?" I asked panicking. "Thats exactly what I'm looking into. Let me know if anything at ALL happens ok?" She says running out of the room.
I look at ash who wasn't saying anything. He looked up at me "Clemont why is this happening? And to me!" He asked clearly stressed. I grabbed his hand for comfort "Ash we will figure this out I promise you." I say.
He nodded and we walk out the now chaos filled building. We go back to the gym and sit on the bleachers. "Ash did you travel with anyone in galar?" I asked.
He thought for a second before having a panicky face. "Goh! I told him I would call him!" He shouted taking out his rotom phone.
It buzzed for a few seconds before he answered "Ash?! Thank arceus where the heck have you been?! Are you ok?" He asked. "Goh some weird stuff is going on right now..."
He then explained the situation and about where he was and who I was and what we saw on the security cameras. It was silent for a minute before he spoke.
"Ash this is bad. I may know something. When you left I want for a walk and I saw team rocket! But it wasn't jessie or James or even meowth but it was some old man with a tall blue haired woman. They were on the phone with someone and I heard them talking about lumious city in kalos and about "rebuilding". I don't know if it had anything to do with that but its not just a coincidence that they were talking about lumious city."
Ash took a sharp breath. "Thanks so much goh. You're the best. Ill call you when we have some sort of update." "Bye ash. Be careful."
Ash hung up the phone and looked at me in almost a pleading way "Clemont... what are we supposed to do in this situation?!" He asked. "Ash..." I said quietly. I scooted over to where he was on the bleachers and gave him a hug. He clung to me, his hands shaking a bit.
We stayed like that for a while before I had a thought. "Ash where do you think team rocket could be? You said you haven't seen them for about the past week right?" He looked up at me and nodded "Yea which is weird cause I see them literally everyday." He chuckled "Their like my permanent traveling buddies." He smiled but then seemed to have a thought.
"You know come to think of it, last time I saw them they were rambling on about something. They said something about a pokemon club called "RP Club"(idk I just came up with it.)
I frowned a bit "Thats a pokemon club right across town! I think we found our first place to search..."
