⚡Ash x Clemont!⚡

Chaper 9

Clemont p.o.v

I wake up to the annoying buzzing of my phone. I groaned a bit before grabbing my phone and turning off the alarm harshly. I look down to see that ash and pikachu hadn't been affected by the buzz.

I smiled at bit at them. They had the closest bond I had ever seen before. I gently lifted ashes head from my lower stomach before setting it back down comfortably on a pillow. Then putting a purple blanket on top of him.

I then go make us some dinner. The call wasn't scheduled until 9:30 which have me some time to get prepared for what was to come.

I then got to work on some Ramen. I knew we wouldn't have much of an appetite considering.

After finishing it, I go to wake ash up. He was cuddling pikachu like a stuffed animal, while the blanket covered both of them. I almost didn't wanna wake them, but I knew it had to be done. Before that I took a picture of the cute scene.

"Ash...? Wake up sweetie..." I say kindly. His eyes slowly open and he looked at me. He gives a sweet smile "Hi clemont..." he said tired. I smiled at him. How could he be so perfect?! "Uhm.... I made some ramen. Do you wanna get up and get some?" I ask looking into his eyes.

He immediately popped up "Yes! I just relized how hungry I was!" He said getting up. "Lead the way!" He said happy. I smiled and started walking to the dining room. What surprised me us that ash had grabbed my hand and was now walking next to me happily. Why did he do that? I mean I am NOT complaining but still he never did that before.

We got to the dining room and there was sitting 2 bowls of ramen next to each other. He rushed me over and we sat down him on the left chair me on the right.

He, almost reluctantly, let go of my hand and started to eat. I did the same. We then were talking about our plans for the journey. He said he planned on going to another region that professer oak recommends. I told him I'd go anywhere that he was.

After we finished it was about time to call them. Ash looked visibly nervous while twittling with his fingers. "Hey you ok?" I ask. He looks at me "yea just a bit nervous no biggie!" He said faking his happiness. I frowned "Ok if your sure..." it was 9:29. They said on the dot so we had the number at ready.

We watched the timer "3...2...1!" I say and click the button just as the clock switches to 9:30 pm. It rung once before we heard an answer.

"Twerp?" We heard jessie on the other line. "Yes its us. What the heck is going on!" Ash exclaimed. "Ok we don't have much time but here's what we know." She paused while we mentally prepared ourselves. "We never found out about this up until about a week ago but team rocket and team flare are now partners in a sense. Lysander made a contract with the boss, Giovanni. This contract meant that if there plan failed, team rocket would take over it and try again. We were planning to help them but after the boss told us,  he said that we were awful at our job! He's not wrong but it still hurt! But now we've decided to get revenge! And maybe turn good in the end?" Jessie hurriedly said.

Ash smiled "Thats great team rocket! We will do our best to help. What do we need to do?" "Its very simple. All you need to do is rid of the contract and were all good to go. Its supposed to be in the building you were in today. If you come very early tomorrow, around 4AM we will help you get inside. We know its on the top floor. Lysander had owned this building before he disappeared and it immediately went to Giovanni. This was there second lab. Ok we don't have much time left we have to go. Well explained everything else tomorrow."

"WAIT!" Ash exlaimed "What do they want with me?" He asked confused. Then James popped into the conversation "If we had any guess it would be that your bond with greninga is something the boss wants. I know because he told us. Maybe to study it or something. But you would need greninga for that and no one has reported seeing him." James explained.

Ash seemed to sigh of relief. "Well they went to big extremes for that one if they locked me up..." he said but then had a thought "wait then what about the room and the chains? Was that inside the truck? It must've been..." he said in deep thought

I turned to the phone. "Thanks so much team rocket. We will be there at 4 am tomorrow. We'll see you then." "Be careful." Meowth says before hanging up. I turned back to ash who was petting pikachu on the head while pikachu seemed to fuss over him. He chuckled "Pikachu im fine really!" He said. "Pi..." Pikachu said skeptical.

Ash turned to me "We might wanna get some sleep. We're gonna need as much energy as we can tomorrow. And I think I'm gonna have some of my pokemon be sent over by professer oak..."

We then went over to the big telephone at the back of the laundry room. Ash then put in the number for professer oaks lab. It rung a few times before we heard his familiar voice but not able to see his face.

"Why hello ash! I- WOAH MUK!" he exclaimed while some crashing went on in the background. Ash cringed a bit smiling. Professor oak then popped up dusting himself off "Jeez... ok anyways ash... what do you need?" He asks smiling.

Ash then seemed to get really excited "Can I take some of my pokemon?" Professer oak smiled "Of course! Who are you thinking?" He asked. Ash seemed to think a bit before making up his mind. "Charizard... dracofish, dragonite... and lycanrock!"(lets pretend professer oak has lycanrock...)

Professer oak nodded and left for a minute before coming back with 4 pokeballs. "Ok jm sending them over!" Ash nodded excitedly, it was clear how much he loved his pokemon. "And ash... how are you doing?" He asked. He seemed confused by the question before relizing and nodding "Yea.... we have figured something out and it's all gonna be okay." he smiled

He then got all of his pokemon and beamed at them. He looked over to professer oak "Thanks so much professer oak!" He exlaimes. He chuckled "No problem ash. Let me know if you need anything else." He hung up.

Ash then let out his pokemon. I gaped at them. They were all so cool. Then his pokemon started running towards him and happily gave him and pikachu a hug. He chuckled "Hey you all! I missed you guys." He then explained what was going on. His pokemon looked furious at the fact that people were trying to hurt there trainer.

He then introduced me. They then ran over to me sniffing me as to get used to my scent. Ash then put them back into here pokeballs after saying goodnight. I smiled at him "You know ash... your really an amazing trainer! Thoes pokemon seemed to really love you." Ash looked at me and rubbed the bottom of his nose "thanks clemont! Y-you know your great too!" He said embarrassed.

I smiled flattered. I mean ash just called me great! We then went into the bedroom and laid down our backs touching. We then said goodnight to each other but then he spoke "Clemont I'm so glad that I'm back with you." he said sounding very embarrassed.

I was just as embarrassed cause I froze and don't know what to say "I f-felt the exact same way! I was even thinking about you the night I found you outside." Shit. Did I just say that? "W-ell we should get to sleep now!Goodnight sweetie love you Goodnight!" I said closing my eyes tight. Why the hell would I ever say that?!

It was silent for a minute  and i was starting to worry before I hear him speak "I.... I love you too clemont. Goodnight..." he said turning around and snuggling onto my back. I almost passed out. Thoes words that he said were just... amazing. He loves me! Oh my God. Though it most likely wasn't in the way I did...

I bit my pillow as to not freak out. This boy was amazing. I turned around to face him and rubbed his head while drifting into a peaceful sleep.
