2 years ago was a big day for you and Steven - after quite a while of knowing you he finally asked you out. Ever since, you've been by his side and he had been by yours - one thing he loves most about you is the fact that you try your best to always help and understand him. A key example of this is when he found out he was a part of a DID system. When he realised, he immediately told you - he never liked keeping secrets from the love of his life. Yes, he considered you the love of his life.

However, despite telling you about his other alter (Marc) and always informing you on their adventures, you had never met him. Steven reassured you that it wasn't because Marc didn't want to meet you, it's just that the two wanted to wait for the right moment. Introductions could be difficult. And Marc did have a tiny crush on you.

It was a Saturday night and both you and Steven were sitting at the table, across from each-other, eating your dinner. All night Steven had been acting rather odd and a bit quiet, but when you asked him if anything was wrong, he denied - to you it was extremely obvious that something was on his mind. During the time you had known Steven, he had been the most truthful and honest guy; so knowing he was keeping something from you AND he was acting off, made you feel slightly uneasy.

Both of you had nearly cleared your plates, but just as Steven was about the take the last bite full he paused. He looked at you again and then back down at his food, and it was as if he was someone else - a completely new person; just by the look and emotion you could tell that this wasn't your Steven.

He looked up from his plate to look at your from across the table, and stared into your eyes with hesitance and uncertainty.

"Steven?...are you okay?"

He stayed silent, thinking of what he had planned to say to you.

"It's- it's not Steven." Confusion flooded you completely, what did he mean it wasn't Steven?

"I'm Marc. It's nice to finally meet you in person (y/n)". Complete and utter shock. Idiot! It was so obvious why didn't you just put two and two together! Your thoughts focused on how you hadn't figured it out before hand. While you tried to get your head around the fact that Marc was right in front of you, he stared at you - picking out every detail of your appearance, and inspecting you like he could never do before.

"It's nice to finally meet you too Marc.." hesitance was laced within your tone, you weren't sure what to do and how to react in this situation. Previously, you never thought about your first time meeting Marc and if you did, you definitely wouldn't have thought it was be this awkward. He wasn't what you expected either.

From what Steven had said, Marc was a rough guy who had a lot of confidence and seemed a bit cocky. However, right now he seemed quite timid and reserved, but what you didn't know was that he was acting this way due to your effect on him. To Marc, you were outstanding; amazing personality pared with an extremely attractive exterior - even when confused you were cute. Marc was struggling to contain himself from spurting out anything which would make you uncomfortable or Steven slightly mad at the fact he was hitting on his partner.

But he failed.

"I have to say... your even more beautiful and attractive in person. I'm not sure how much longer I can look at you before you consume my thoughts entire." A smirk appeared of the Americans face and a blush was prominent on yours. As you kept re-thinking about Marc's short speech, your blush just got redder and redder. You weren't able to focus properly. Maybe this is what Steven meant by confidence...

However, when your saw Marc's whole demeanour change, you put the puzzle pieces together and guessed that your sweet boyfriend was now fronting.

"S-sorry for that quick surprise sweetheart," Steven have a nervous laugh, " we just thought it was the right time and moment.."

"Thank you Steven... and Marc."

"For what darling?"

"Just about everything..."

Wide smiles stretched across both yours and Steven's faces as you stared at the other lovingly. However, this moment was quickly ruined when Steven jolted his head towards one of the mirrors in the apartment. A look of horror and disturbance on his face.

"Oi! That's my partner your talking about! Not yours! So you can't say stuff like that!"

You giggled quietly. It was apparent that Marc had commented something slightly suggestive about you to Steven, but silence soon settled however a little "stupid American man" followed the prominent quietness along with a few more giggles from you.

This had got to be one of the best moments of all of your lives.
