He arrives in Malacca the next day. The journey from Singapore to Malacca is not far as it will usually take a day or two. Arriving there, he directly goes to the town of Malacca to find a taxi so he could get to Klang immediately. He was stopped at a convenience store at the town upon seeing the headlines on a newspaper being sold there.
GOVERNMENT KEEPING ITS PROMISE
SELANGOR - The Government, as promised, fights against any act of terror and rebellion. Just recently, all the state residents have launched a cleansing operation across their state of in-charge. Many rebels were arrested and some were even shot dead. In Selangor, many of their hideouts were destroyed.
Despite the great efforts being done, many still managed to escape. However, the government is determined to hunt them down even if it costs a fortune. herefore, as it may have been said before, any related-information will be very useful.
EVERY INFORMANT WILL BE REWARDED!
"My god, are they okay?" That is Ghaafar Lee's reaction upon reading the headlines. Although now that he is very worried about his great lads, he doubts their being in Klang. With the rushes happening, they might have run away. In no way they would stay there, they are wanted by the government. So, he changes his plan.
He now plans to stay for a while here in Malacca. It is better this way. He himself is very much wanted for escaping earlier in Singapore. He is not just worried about the wellbeing of his lads, he is now also worried about his own safety. There is no way they could all be safe now while still struggling against British Colonial rule. Everyone who rises to go against them will suffer, that is what the British had promised the Malayans.
It is then a few days later that he meets Master Amir at the town, drinking his morning coffee. He was in shock. How could this old man be so far down here in Malacca? Where are the others then? So many questions are there in his mind right now. So, he approaches Master Amir in regards to knowing the wellbeing of the other lads. He is very eager to know as he misses them all.
"Sir!" He shouted in a greeting tone upon reaching Master Amir. The latter is very shocked by the former being there approaching him. There is no way Ghaafar Lee is still alive. According to everyone's logic, he would have been killed at the scene the other day. No way the British would leave him alive. "I miss you, sir!" He hugs him immediately. There is no other way to express his love and misses towards Master Amir.
"Lee! Yo- you are still alive." Said Master Amir, very shakingly. He could not believe it, anyone would not believe that the man they accepted his death on, is here in front of him, even hugging him, "H-how? How, Lee?" He asks melancholically. He still does not believe the fact that Ghaafar Lee is alive!
"That is really not important, sir. What's important is I'm alive and we're reunited now!" Ghaafar Lee calming Master Amir down. "Where are the others?" Ghaafar Lee asks out of curiosity.
"We are all safe here, don't worry. Everyone is here, Lee..." Master Amir explains. "If this is the case, we will all go through this together strongly! We are stronger than ever!" Master Amir is now getting even more motivated.

"So, how did you leave for Malacca?" Ghaafar Lee asks. He is very curious about how they manage to escape all the rushes in Selangor. "It's almost impossible for one to escape especially when the government rushes everyone all-out!" He speaks further.
"This all could never be achieved without the strong mentality we all have buried in our minds. This includes you, Lee. You can never escape and reach Malacca if you were never strong. This all takes courage and bravery. With courage and bravery, you could go through everything! Literally everything, Lee! So, buckle up! You are still young, there's many more obstacles for you to jump over. And I believe that you can go through all of 'em." Master Amir motivates Ghaafar Lee.
"I understand, sir. Thank you." The only appropriate response that Ghaafar Lee could provide Master Amir with. "I also believe in one thing, sir. That we all can go through this together! We are destined to go through this rough journey to succeed at the end of the line. That's what we're destined for!" Ghaafar Lee elaborates.
"How did you get here, by the way?" Master Amir changes the topic of conversation right now.
"Instinct. Instinct, sir..."
