It's funny how we are so talkative in person
Cracking jokes and sharing thoughts 'till we're at the edge of tears
But what happens if I stop texting you first?
What happens when I feel like I'm annoying you?
It happened to me before, but I don't want to loose you
It's silly how our communication fades away
Oh, if you only knew how many times I had to stop myself from calling you
It was impulsive from to me to disappear just like that
But I wanted to see
I wanted to see if you would text first
I wanted to see if you would want to hang out
It's been a week now but it feels like month
I'm still here, waiting for your text
Please bring back the times we've hang out
This world lags communication
And so do we
