"I FOUND SOMETHING!"

Astrid and Fishlegs yelled at the same time, startling the others. Astrid's voice came from below deck, while Fishlegs' voice came from the room where they had found the map with the strange writing on it. Everyone went to Fishlegs' voice, since all of them were anxious to learn what the writing was on the map. When everyone got there, Fishlegs had various scrolls and loose papers strung all over the room. He was standing next to the map, looking triumphant.

"What did you find Fishlegs?" asks Hiccup.

"It took me a while, but I was able to decipher the title of the map, along with some of the other writing on it." explains Fishlegs, gesturing to the map.

"I also was able to find out what this language is called. It's called, 'Japanese'. This language is only contained in some of the oldest scrolls in the Berk Archives, but I transferred it to normal paper, so it wouldn't get damaged on the journey." Fishlegs further explains.

"Well? What does it say?" asks Hiccup, clearly excited to find out what the writing said.

"Well, the first part of the map says, 'Atlas of the Northern Archipelago', while some of these parts say, 'northern islands', 'southern islands', 'eastern islands',  and 'western islands'." Fishlegs explains, gesturing to different words that are located on the map.

After listening to Fishlegs talk more about the map and how it was made in relation to their maps, Hiccup remembers that Astrid also found something on another part of the ship. He says, "Wait, Astrid, didn't you find something too?"

"Right! I almost forgot! Follow me." says Astrid, running out the doors to the open deck.

She runs over to a corner that had some crates that were a little banged up, and pulled out an assortment of items. It included weapons, jewelry, tableware, and a flag. The flag was all white with a red circle in the middle of it.

"This must be the flag of where the ship came from, and those people must speak Japanese, the language that Fishlegs told us about earlier." says Hiccup, putting the pieces together in his head.

"I FOUND SOMETHING ELSE!" shouts Tuffnut, looking over in a different corner of the ship. He pulls out a large sail, which they lay down on the sand a few feet from the ship. The sail is massive, with a symbol of two swords clashing, with two fish, one on the top, and one on the bottom, with a tree in the background.

After these big discoveries, they decide to head back to the Edge, where they are met with an unknown voice speaking in a strange language. They walk in to see......the girl, standing up with a panicked look on her face.

"ここはどこ?" says the girl.
